Actually if the lineup was only Captain Marvel, Doc Strange, Sam, Shang-chi and Shuri .. I wouldn’t find that uninspiring at all. So there.

Aw I like Hawkeye. His series was one of the best.
Oh yeah how the hell did I forget Hulk.
Hulk was explicitly shown to be working with Captain Marvel, so he’s in the mix (and potentially She-Hulk, despite that line on the show).
The current potential line-up (which ostensibly includes Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Shang-Chi, and Shuri’s Black Panther) is not a particularly inspiring one.
Almost anytime that you hear a really hot woman asked about her relationship with a much less hot guy, she answers the same thing: He makes me laugh.
He’s not writing skits or creating digital shorts like Samberg was. He’s a performer only (a great one at that). And he’s been doing sketch comedy forever so I have to imagine a lot of the work is second nature for him by now. So I would think his schedule is a fair amount easier.
Kenan was vat-born in a lab with the sole purpose of doing sketch comedy.
Tina Fey just laid it all out in an interview with Conan O’Brien. “It’s a schedule built around cocaine. Then the Seventies end. As far as I knew, nobody was doing cocaine when I was on the show, but they still kept the schedule.”
Considering he was on All That as a child, it might just be in his nature at this point. It’s all he’s ever known
Notes on this (significantly compiled from things others have already said):
That despite its recent uptick in quality, the A.V. Club still hasn’t hired any copy editors.
Yup. “I am in no way aligned or affiliated with The Daily Wire.” Cool, noted. Congrats on getting your film distributed, though.
That doesn’t make any sense. There was no time in history where you could spontaneously show up and expect to have the best seats. You would have to show up 30 minutes to an hour before and stand around in line. On opening weekend, you would have to show up even earlier.
Meh, there are only about 20 actors who have total f-you money. The rest have bills to pay. I dont care
Except that’s not totally true, because Netflix did almost single-handedly kill the home video market, which was lucrative enough to cause movies that bombed in the theater market, yet make bank on VHS/DVD, etc. sales, to get sequels that would make money both in theaters and at home.
It’s sad/ironic/funny that they rush to replace the creative element of their industry with AI when the job that AI is perfectly suited to replace is theirs.
Executives and senior “leadership” in every industry are largely a bunch of incompetent sociopaths and morons. NONE of them “earn” their exorbitant pay and perks through competence and capable leadership.
“...we’re still waiting on that third season of What If...?”
I can’t believe that, with so many Muppet fans here, and with so many disagreeing with Jesse’s appraisal of the Muppet movies, that no one has posted the only response appropriate for such an occasion:
