I’m not sure how you can call something ludicrous, laughable, and nonsensical, but claim you’re not saying it’s stupid. You’re also making a lot of absolute claims that just don’t hold up on closer inspection (that you’re making absolutist value claims about cultural artifacts in the first place is a separate issue).

Except for that....interesting....first paragraph, I think you’ve made excellent points.

the worst thing Marvel TV ever did was the Terrigen Fish Pills storyline from AoS

Given the lack of special effects, the least this show could’ve done is provide us with Karnak and Gorgon fight scenes every episode. The lack of action in this series amazes me, particularly given the dumbed-down dialogue. Who is the target audience for this show? Beats me.

You are correct in that the fish-out-of-water bits and the brothers vying for rulership strongly echo the 1st Thor movie. However, Asgard never seemed to worry that humans/Earth posed any threat to them.

Eh, not bad. Couple issues:

This is such a complete failure that, even taken *as a failure*, it is a failure. Not bad enough to be good, or even close to that.

This guy’s power was, “good with a 10-foot pole.”

Hopefully Marvel stops giving Scott Buck tv shows after this. I’m sort of glad they pushed him to this instead of letting him continue to ruin the netflix shows but hopefully this is the end of it.

This show is baffling to me, on so many different levels. Take the flashback scene between Blackbolt and Medusa. Blackbolt accidentally kills his parents, so Medusa decides that this is the perfect moment to find him so she can gloat, because Blackbolt’s parents mistreated her. This is psychotic behavior. Which gets

So Lockjaw was hardly in this episode based on this review.

“Triton’s sudden turn”

There’s also the problem that there is very little that’s interesting or compelling in the Inhumans source material.

Interesting that we’re approaching sixty replies to this article. Sixty being my guess at the total viewers for the show at this point...

...you can’t convince us that anyone would follow Maximus for even a couple of days if he just keeps murdering people.

Amongst an article of questionable claims, this one stood out to me:

And to be honest, superheroes are an inherently ludicrous concept.

This show is bad, but some of your commentary seems a bit off to me. For one thing, Medusa speaking as Black Bolt’s voice and not being responded to is appropriate. I think that is frankly reaching to make it about her gender. It seems like you come at this show with a definite agenda, and while it does a terrible job

The reason there was an Inhumans movie in the first place was because Perlmutter would only greenlight stuff like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Doctor Strange if they also included an Inhuman’s movie in the plans. So when Feige took over for Perlumutter they ended up dumping the movie from the line up.

The important question is: Where the fuck is Sammy? Like on one hand I’m lad that he’s seemed to escape with his life considering what a shit friend Black Bolt’s been, but on the other, some confirmation of his status would be nice.
