I came to say just about exactly this, but you said it better.

Not sure it alienated anyone. It was just lazy writing.

Yeah, this is how I felt, but I wanted to see if anyone else had a strong argument for the show ultimately succeeding.

Yes, exactly. The more they try to pretend that the series has anything to do with the Foundation novels, the siller they sound.

This interview seems like it has more red flags than the first season. Back to back cliffhanger finales? original plan for 8 seasons? 2 years between 1 and 2? Sounds like a zero percent chance of this series ending with dignity and closure. The show definitely has some excellent elements, but I’m very glad I hadn’t

This is a truly terrible take. You’re aware that most movies aren’t made because fans specifically called for a certain plot to be made, and the filmmakers just do it, right? That’s idiotic. And PWB is incredibly likeable in everything I’ve ever seen her in. Sorry your action heroes can only ever be men. Must be a sad

Troll says what?

Minsc. Definitely Minsc. Because, well, Minsc comes with Boo. Or the adventures of how Minsc and Boo hooked up! It could be like a buddy cop theme, with Boo providing the knowing camera glances to Minsc’s frequent comedic relief.

Slapping a morose looking Harley Quinn into the story isn’t going to help.

And Russell T Davies proves again he knew damn well that having Tennant wear the outgoing Doctor’s costume would not have been drag, because obviously he does know what drag is — he was, indeed, lying with that sad sack of an excuse for breaking with tradition. And he proves he actually is perfectly fine with drag on

It’s weird that this is structured as a “Why aren’t there any original movies?” piece but it’s actually a “Why aren’t there more new franchises?” piece. Like, isn’t something like Get Out a lot more of a unicorn than John Wick? Franchises are commonplace but hard to pull off, and every one that pulls it off makes the

This is one nostalgia I don’t need to relive.

Lots of stupid people on Twitter going “HOW DARE THEY RECAST VANESSA!” as if she was a fixture of all three Netflix seasons and not just, like, a recurring character in one season. Also, they have recast MCU actors, too, before; let us not forget the Great Bruce Banner Recast of 2012.

Yup. I think marvel is more open to recasting b and c level characters like Ross and Vanessa to service the story.

I really liked Zurer as Vanessa. But I like Sandrine Holt too.

Yeah, except that method has been tried and it doesn’t work. All it does is give these people more supporters.

We’re all blind apparently, because Dark has to be somewhere on this list.

You’re kidding me, right?

Am I blind or is Dark not even on this list?

I was somewhat on the fence about TLOU until episode 3. I was incredible impressed by the writing and direction of that episode. You don’t have to be gay (I’m not) to appreciate it, because it deals with themes that are central to the human experience regardless of sexuality and gender.
