The criticism that always gets me is when people say that the movie is in favor of “killing the past” when Yoda has an entire scene where he explains that the thesis of the film is “learn from your mistakes and be better.”  The Yoda/Luke scene is easily the best of the film and arguably the best in the franchise.

Oh for Pete’s sake. The last season really made me want to see the fifth season. If they’d canceled at the end of the third I’d kind of understand, but I feel like they got their mojo back.

That sucks, specially after this season being pretty awesome.

Same for me, I can’t understand the hate this show is getting. I loved almost everything about it, it’s so refreshing to finally watch a fantasy show that’s not all grim and dark.

I don’t know if that is really feasible - the proper timeline is what, almost 2000 years long? The forging of the rings alone takes like 90 years. Certain characters, like all the Numenorans and likely the Harfoots, would barely be a part of the show if they did that.
