To paraphrase @christinelove on Twitter:
I understand the goal of wanting to get players more emotionally invested in what was formerly a video game sex symbol character, but I think you have a point. It seems to be framed in a very unfortunate mindset.
Well, if it's a good port and on Steam without any other DRM then I won't mind. But yeah it would be less hassle to just grab a console version, which is probably going to be cheaper anyway.
CUE ELITIST RAGE
I was at E3 today and tried some of these games, like Luigi's Ghost Mansion Pac-Man edition or whatever that neat minigame was.
Thanks for sharing! I missed this during Black Friday and I'd be so on it if Newegg didn't charge sales tax in my state (which is like, an extra $25).
I think that a constant internet connection does enhance the experience in certain ways, like cloud saves (which have always been around) and the social features, but the lack of an offline single-player mode is inexcusable to me personally. Diablo II (and its better clones) was a game that I played on the go for…
I want one, my old 13-inch HP is dying by now and I always wished it could do more than 10 year-old games. Though I bet this thing runs HOT...
I'm not sure what fanboys those are supposed to be. Company of Heroes came out during the later part of the huge WW2 FPS/RTS fad a few years ago (which Call of Duty was part of). Which was succeeded by the Modern Military Shooter trend...
Care tobacco that argument?

Yep, "pawahara" and "sekuhara" (abuse of power and sexual harassment) are huge problems in the Japanese corporate world, particularly for women. Things like this happen often in workplaces and schools, and the people at fault often get off with little more than a reprimand/paid leave/transfer even when violence or…
Can't wait for Good Eats to revisit this one!
Played the ARMA2 trial and it was... daunting. I can hit a target at 100+ meters in real life more easily than I can in this game. >_<
Great to hear!
Win-win for both parties, really!
I agree with your sentiment, but E3 was always "industry-centered." It's basically a gigantic press conference. Hell, I hate working there standing at a booth all day but it's a big marketing opportunity.
I can empathize with that, even if I don't agree. Universities have discussed jamming cell phone signals (some already do it) in lecture halls and libraries for similar etiquette reasons.
Oh, first day. Yeah...
