The X-9 and later V-9 drones in Macross are even called Ghost!

Verizon used to charge a subscription for tethering like the other carriers. On rooted Android and jailbroken iOS there were ways to circumvent that. But at some point in the past few years our family plan just got tethering included as part of some upgrade or promotion at no extra cost and so I don’t need to bother

just FYI, it’s おおあな/ooana.

I love your typo, but yes, the former.

I’m tempted. No need to replace my current North American N3DS XL, but my Japanese 3DS is the oldest model.

I recall it happening in WoW and FFXIV too. Probably happens in a lot of MMOs!

Please don’t suck!

You could totally Amazon Dash a roll of toilet paper if you ran out and receive the package without having to get up!

Nice, I haven’t seen this work on someone since the early 2000s.

100% of serial killers ingested DHMO prior to their crimes! Coincidence?

Having spent 4 hours or so in the game last night when it unlocked, it’s not really detracting from the fun, but it is extremely noticeable when you spend so much time close up to characters’ faces. It definitely feels like they only mocapped/animated some characters and not others. Like, unfinished.

Yeah, I was expecting some high-speed camera footage at the end and disappointed that there wasn’t any. Air could do this, too. At this distance, it’s hard to tell without slow-mo.

The marketing for these things pretends that affordable access points don’t exist. Crappy wireless “range extenders” (signal repeaters) aren’t the only options out there for consumers. You can pick up a dedicated access point for $60 to $70 and they are easy to set up, especially if you have hard wiring.

yeah I forgot to mention the warranty! My plug broke after 3 years of use and I got them replaced last December for $9.

Yep, these are decent headphones. If you’re looking for a cheap beater pair of headphones that also has a tried-and-true design, check out the Koss PortaPro. They’ve been around since the 1980s and are still some of the best headphones in their price point ($25 - $30) today. I don’t know why Amazon has them at $50,

Just adjust the difficulty down if that becomes an issue. I remember doing Hardcore/Insanity in ME2 for the challenge but it really just became a slog like you noted. Much faster on Normal or Veteran.

I see, thanks for the update. I know that VZW had at least acknowledged the apps’ existence at the time.

Yeah, I think I used to use FoxFi. Thanks for sharing.

I feel like this might depend on where you live. In both delivery and service, USPS has always been on par with the private carriers (in a good way) for me.

There used to be hotspot apps that could circumvent Verizon’s account check, but it’s been years since I used them since I moved off my unlimited plan. They might’ve cracked down by now.
