I think that’s debatable, and a movie like this is angling for a blockbuster, cross-demo appeal. They don’t just want to make some money. With that franchise? I’m sure it cost a lot to make, plus the marketing. I mean, which of the cast are expected to be the big international draws?

The “stars” of the new Hunger Games prequel...whom the producers and studio didn’t have to pay a high Jennifer Lawrence/Woody Harrelson-caliber salaries to, seeing as they’re hardly known by anyone at all.

This doesn’t look terribly scary, but it does look quite painful....

Unfortunately, however, parenting does play a role in childhood physiological development. Sometimes poor diet contributes to a child being over or underweight and/or height, and sometimes that poor diet is due to fanciful but false notions some parents have about nutrition.

Well, uh, he’s the owner? He can work from wherever he wants, come and go whenever he wants. It’s not like that’s something specific to Musk as an owner.

This simply does not make technological sense. It sounds like wishful thinking. These A.I. and the engineers who develop them are far too sophisticated to be stumped for more than a few minutes by techniques like this. They probably overcame it in less time than it took the OP to write this article.

I wager that because of imperfections in the science and the unreliability of the estimates involved, one of many theories could explain such a small difference. Perhaps the ancient Anatolians were racist toward Neanderthals and their descendants, or vice versa...although I’m guessing that that theory wouldn’t be

Any word on why the Anatolian population had a smaller percentage of Neanderthal DNA?”

Jeeeezus. Remember a few years ago when cord cutting was the latest and greatest thing and everyone under 40 was convinced the cable companies and big-media empires were all run by out-of-touch olds who had lost their stranglehold on consumers, never to be in control again?

Sigh...

I’d been using powerline adapters to bridge distances in homes for a while with some success, where you use the home’s built-in electrical wiring to span ethernet devices, but the speeds were always underwhelming, on the order of 25-40Mbps. Not horrible, but not great either.
