To each his own, but no way on the X100T for me. It’s almost 50% heavier, an inch longer with a max f2 aperture vs. f1.8 for the Sony. The whole point of the Sony is the quality in relation to the size. Sure, I love the X100T’s dials and heft. It’s a great camera. It’s just not as portable as the Sony, which is what

Right, would you have said the snarky asshole’s remarks to a group of churchgoers on a Sunday morning in their church? Something tells me you wouldn’t...because deep down inside you know it would be disrespectful and rude to say it to their faces. Both are public places, but you think it’s OK here because this is the

Right, so someone is a snarky, condescending asshole on a post about a person who’s been robbed at gunpoint because she used the words, “Thank you, Jesus” in a self-empowering, entirely respectful way, and I’m the morality police?

I agree with you on the epidemic of by proxy Internet outrage — people getting mad on some hypothetical person’s or group of people’s behalf — but I personally have a problem with it. It bothers me. I think it’s rude and disrespectful to ridicule or otherwise malign people of faith in public, even if the people

Bullshit. You’re trying to rationalize bad behavior. She didn’t in any way whatsoever use religion to malign or disrespect anyone else. She didn’t “introduce something into public discussion.” She just didn’t conceal her faith, and then some snarky asshole online attacked her for it.

You’re desperately trying to defend what amounts to just being a snarky, disrespectful asshole...

What does it matter what the difference is?? People are allowed to have their own personal beliefs when those beliefs don’t infringe on someone else’s rights. She wasn’t slinging her faith around to harm anyone else. People don’t have to defend being a Christian or a Muslim or a Buddhist, or a gamer or a foodie. Live

Bullshit. Who made you the morality police? This is still America. People shouldn’t have to defend their every statement or their personal beliefs if they aren’t presenting them as attacks against someone else.

Fair enough, but I am disgusted by how brazenly people who often refer to themselves as progressives demean other people’s religion. I think it’s appalling. Sometimes the same people who feel it’s awful to demean someone’s race think it’s OK to nonchalantly demean their closely held beliefs.

Oh, get down off your high horse. Making snarky comments to someone about their religion is like teasing someone about a handicap or their parenting choices. Some things are just disrespectful and rude.

Or, you could just respect people enough to allow them their faith without chiming in with condescending snark?

As much as the crowd here doesn’t seem to like the look of this car, Toyota will very likely sell 10x as many of them as Tesla sells Model 3s next year.

Publish shaming like this when it could very likely save a child’s life? Yes, I’m OK with the how these “parents” were publicly shamed.

Well aren’t they heroes for dealing with it?? WTF are you doing about it?

Yeah, that’s the most important thing to focus on...whether his/her brother was misgendering.

What I find ironic is that Justin would actually update the post to reflect a production goal to produce 500k Tesla model 3s per year when Tesla has yet to actually meet one of its own annual production goals.

Or...get the Bolt if you want a practical EV for your wife, two kids and dog and you want the car sometime within the next six months?

Fair enough. And I don’t think Tesla will release the 3 for two years, and when they finally do they won’t be able to price it at $35k, much less $30k, nor will they be able to meet demand, regardless of the gigafactory, and by then a great many of those 400k preorders will cancel and buy one of the other EV options

That’s the thing. We literally have no idea when the model 3 will be available. The only thing Tesla has been consistent about is consistently behind in hitting their production goals. It could be two years away.

But we have absolutely no idea when the model 3 will be released. Some of us don’t have an unknown/unlimited time horizon.
