“the content is potentially triggering" Le Sigh

Q400s are twin turboprops. I commuted on them for years around the PNW. Very safe plane. Flown by two pilots. Had no idea you could do a barrel roll in one.

I’m not at all saying what he did was logical, but I do understand it. The most extreme suicidal thoughts can erase away every bit of decency that a person has if they let them. Those of us like myself and yourself? We beat the thoughts, we didn’t let them become who we are.

He did an amazing job flying that Q400 for not being an actual pilot.

Well the root would have us all believe that just being white is an act of terrorism.

Be thankful that you’ve never sunk to a place so low that you’ve abandoned all hope like this.

So the guy crashed a plane into a wooded area. Big deal. It may be worth millions of dollars but it’s also insured and the corporations involved will brush it off as a relatively minor loss. You could also argue environmental damage to the immediate area where the crash occurred, but again that is extremely minor in

This is the moment I finally decided that yes, definitely, we are doomed.

Thankfully he wasn’t shot down. The jets were to keep him close to the water. He also seemed to have at least a tiny bit of concern for others. He didn’t take anyone with him, didn’t run into traffic, and he kept it close to the coast. Audio has him saying that he’s going to do a barrel roll then crash and video seems

He was committing suicide, not using violence against civilians to further an ideological objective.

The younger me would’ve listened to this and laughed it off. Now that I’m older and have lived through some unpleasantness empathy takes over. If anyone reading this is feeling like you’re out of options or are just fucking TIRED of the struggle to get through yet another miserable day talk it out with a counselor.

The craziest joy-ride of his life. R.I.P.

What a way to go.

Former editor of a motoring website here. You would be amazed at the number of people applying for jobs who don’t have a driving licence!

Good lord, 70k? My (hanging head in shame) Lanos didn’t even see the 18k mark before it needed a new engine.

A couple years ago I went on a backpacking trip with some friends. It was a one way through hike, so we dropped a car at the end, then piled into another and drove to the start. Somehow I ended up being the driver for the return trip to pick up the car that we had left at the start, in my friend’s brother’s car. I’d

You’re right Torch, I did forget these existed.

What’s sad is the Borrego was actually a decent SUV. It was also a legit SUV the likes of the old Explorer and Trailblazer contemporaries.

I live in Ohio, land of mediocrity, and even I forgot this existed. I don’t even think I’ve seen them on Craigslist as of late. I saw a Daewoo Leganza and a Suzuki Esteem on the road the other day even.
