That’s not a LUV, this is a LUV;

I forgot that it existed, was reminded that it existed, then immediately forgot again. What were we talking about? Hi.

Anyone that misses dealing with a creepy uncle at family BBQs can get that feeling again by reading the comments on youtube that didn’t avoid the subject of the owner of this AZ-1.

Totally. I’ve been an attorney for 11 years. I just bought an MK5 GTI. Cash. Under $6k.

I wish Jay weren’t such a steamroller in these videos. He always talks over his guests and doesn’t allow them to fully expound on any given subject before he jumps in and cuts them off. So many interesting vehicles roll through his garage I wish he and his team could do them better justice than this.

“To me, the Mustang has always been about affordable enjoyment for the masses.”

This is the correct take - living within your means is so uncool nowadays.

I don’t get it, either. I’ve got a pretty high salary and only one kid, and I’m still usually looking at used stuff in the $20K-30K range. Then again, people seem to talk like $500+ a month for a car is normal, so I guess I’m just out of touch.

This is probably what Martin Winterkorn is trying to find on Pornhub.

or the ever more common..

I’ve told this story before. Me and my family went to gathering. One of the kids there just got his permit. So he was begging people to let him drive their cars, up and down the driveway. Long story short me, him and my three year old son are in my car. He’s trying to start it. He’s pressing the red buton (it’s an Acur

Honestly from a car theif perspective it actually makes sense. One of the best theft deterrents on earth is to to be slightly harder less convenient or higher risk than the next best target.  The second someone puts up a real fight it's just easier to hit up someone else.

I love that somehow the caption for the lead image assumes that manual transmissions don’t have a reverse gear?

I actually think the “being scared off by a person yelling and honking the horn” is the more embarrassing of the two. I mean, who on earth expects the victim to fight back, right? Or, you know, make a bunch of noise.

And they’ll still shift.

Why not? It’s quite aesthetic.

I hate it when the shift pattern isn’t in English.

In the millennial version of Fast and the Furious, every car has a CVT.

Exactly. I drive a VW Jetta (manual, natch) since I was putting in tons of highway miles for my job. Wife drives an Inferno Orange 4Runner TRD Pro. She’s a “badass” and I get asked if I’m on my period. It’s hilarious.

Just out of curiosity, based on what you have said, you would drive this with no issues, correct?
