The most recent update (parks) really upped the effectiveness of the trees.
In addition to sound protection, I think those walls are also supposed to be visual and safety barriers. Sound is one thing but I wouldn’t want to see a highway outside my window, nor would I want to have cars barreling through my yard on icy days.
I actually thought the upper trim models look really great in photos. But I’ve started seeing them in person, and even the upgraded, larger wheels don’t help. IMO it’s not pretty in person. It kind of looks like a hippo in a wind tunnel (or what I imagine one would look like).
Tires by far.
Even with all the nickle and dime fees Spirit still priced out cheaper than Delta for the big seat for a trip to the LA area.
And always look up the flight tracker to see how close the planes are coming. Many people come to the city council meetings to complain about the planes when they moved within 5 miles of an international airport. Be aware that the planes may take off from a different direction at times.
The flight was what it was. The lack of recline was annoying. It was mainly the phone based customer service that I found to be sorely lacking. I did take note of the fact that the big seats were a huge discount over similarly sized seats on other airlines.
What’s the point of this exercise? Munoz never claimed he loves to fly coach. Are CEOs required to love consuming the cheapest product their company sells?
They’ll make the top row cheaper, since it’s hard to get to. Then people will bitch and complain that the lower, easier to reach seats are more expensive.
Came here to say this. I flew round trip from Denver to Dallas for less than $100 last year (on spirit). It cost nearly as much as my flight just to park my car at the airport than it did to catch a seat on a goddamn jet airplane.
Does this count for international flights? I’m 6'8" with a normal torso length, so traveling for longer than 2 hours on coach is not an option.
I’m dying to know why Munoz wouldn’t just nestle into a middle seat and chill, but United hasn’t responded to a request for comment on what happened, either.
My first thought as well, the front looks completely round and void of any and all design flare or features at all. I’m not saying make it look like a civic type-r but let’s not make it look like an tampon.
So would Volvo, but Ford took a lot better care of its golden goose.
Toyota Prius would have a word...
hate to tell you but these things are flying off the shelves
Amber’s always been a cold bisch.
Ouch, she must have hurt you real bad man.
