I’m not what anyone would consider well off but my score is in the 800s as well. Just pay off your card every month and never carry a balance. It’s not that hard.

I’ve thought about it but more as a project car and not a daily driver.

Yeah that’s pretty stupid. BMW HATES people who work on their own cars.

Some people also don’t check their oil level and when it gets too low and inevitably seizes the engine they act like it was the car’s fault.

You’d almost be better off looking out of the driver’s side window than out the windshield.

Coffee also makes me piss like a race horse.

Yeah I had that same thought as well. It still pales in comparison to drinking tap water in certain developing countries though.

Saab seats are great but they’re not as great as Volvo seats. My V70 was more comfortable than my 9-5.

You’re right but the difference is you can’t buy a new Saab to replace an old one. I’ve moved on from Saab because I’m not interested in buying a car that’s 7-8 years old at the very newest. I’d rather buy something newer and keep for it long time rather than buy something that’s already aging.

I’m not a fan of the rounded styling on the MKIV.

Depends on what repairs it needed really.

It definitely is but the inconvenience of unexpected repairs really sucks. Of course you can still be making payments on a car and have unexpected repairs too and that reaaaaally sucks. If the car is constantly leaving you stranded or is out of commission for repairs more than 3-4x a year then I’d rather take a

B235s are a lot weaker than the older engines in the 9000s. 300 hp is pretty much their limit before they shit the bed. To go beyond stage 3 on a B235 requires upgrading the internals. Mine failed at the connecting rod.

Why is Nebraska green?

Do you live near the Mexican border?

Cars can go to shit pretty quickly. Two year inspections don’t do a whole lot to stop that. I live on the Kansas side of the Kansas City metro and we don’t have any inspections in Kansas. They have inspections in Missouri once every two years and I see no significant difference between either side of the state line

It’s not so much that parts are a problem. It’s more that I’m less and less interested in driving 10+ year old cars from a brand that no longer exists. They are fine to drive for now but as the years go by it will become less reasonable to keep them around. People give up on them because they typically run into an

Oops, my bad. Haha

Stage 3 tune is what blew it up. Admittedly it was my own fault but at that point I had experienced what I wanted to experience with Saab ownership.

Fair enough.
