It’s not so much the parts. It’s that the cars are continually getting older and you can’t buy a new one to replace them. I like to get new vehicles every once in awhile and I can’t really upgrade to a new Saab so there’s no reason for me to stick with them anymore.

The anime headlights are the biggest issue for me.

It really does. Lmao.

You’re right. There are quite a few CUVs out today that are styled similarly to the Aztek in certain ways (Jeep Cherokee, Hyundai Kona, Nissan Juke, Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, arguably the Toyota C-HR) that are selling like hotcakes and getting heaps of praise. If SUVs had been as hot in the early 2000's as they are

Yeah, it was pretty fucking ugly. I always thought they looked odd.

I’ve never had a problem with their spindle grilles. It was what surrounded the spindle grilles that was an issue for me. Admittedly they have improved them a lot in recent times though.

Yeah, you definitely would be. I just like the idea of falling in love with a certain brand and being able to upgrade to a new one if you want to and you can’t do that with Saab unfortunately.

The automobile producing part of Saab is long gone. There are still aftermarket companies producing parts for Saab, but the newest Saab you can buy now is now the better part of a decade old and I just don’t see the point of buying one anymore. Also if you crash a Saab, good luck with that because they don’t make most

My answer is no, I don’t. Mine catastrophically blew its engine at 123,000 miles. I had no desire to buy another 14 year old Saab after that. Owning a Saab made me want a car that I didn’t have to constantly screw with. Fun while it lasted though. I suppose I just don’t really understand the point of clinging onto a

Nice profile pic. I honestly did a double take and thought to myself “hmm I don’t remember commenting on this article.” Glad to see some K-Staters around here.

Can confirm. Mine did.

As someone who has owned a 2004 Saab 9-5 Aero, my advice is don’t buy one. They’re getting rarer every year as well as more unreliable and harder to fix every year.

We don’t even know if he knew where the checklist was.

We get those too in the Kansas City area. They also turn on the tornado sirens here when a tornado is 30 miles north of us and moving away from the area. Shit really pisses me off because we’re in no actual danger so like you said people get in the habit of ignoring the warnings which could have severe consequences if

No. Lots of states still issue temporary tags when you buy a brand new car with no trade in.

Mercedes has never really been that great at making enjoyable manual transmissions so this isn’t really something I’d be interested in.

That is horrifically overpriced. The Miata is a terrible car from a value standpoint. I’ll take a brand new Mazda6 with the 2.5T for the same price. It’s way more comfortable and an all around better car.

It’s also horrifically overpriced. The value for your money when you buy a brand new Miata is terrible.

An average Joe off of the street who has never had a lick of aviation knowledge in his entire life wouldn’t be able to do that. Someone with no prior aviation knowledge isn’t going to know what flaps are, or what the propeller feathering system is, or what stabilizer trim does, or how the flight controls operate, etc.

You have to be pretty intrepid to drive cross-country in an Intrepid.
