I agree with everything except the "bullshit" part. Her friendship isn't "bullshit" suddenly just because she doesn't want to date you. You might need some time away from her to get over your feelings (just because the friendzone doesn't exist doesn't mean it doesn't hurt to be rejected), but if you really can value

So true.

It made me sad to be honest, even if this guy thinks the friendzone actually exists. I hope he gets over this and thinks more of himself so he can be successful in future relationships.

That might be one of my favorite metaphors for the friendzone ever.

If I was in that situation, I honestly wouldn't think Sad Investor was interested in me romantically after staying up all night and nothing happening. As you said, it didn't need to be anything sexual (for me personally that would've been way too fast) but some expression of interest would've indicated that, "Yeah,

The concept of the friendzone is the freaking worst. I've had at least four guys I've thought were my friend later confess to me and then act all indignant when I tell them that, no, I don't like them that way like it was my fault somehow. And to think I used to feel guilty about it. Look, if you like me in some

Lemme know if you need anything :)

Oh, I also live in the United States while they're in the Philippines, so I wouldn't worry all that much about where you are geographically ;)

Personally, I had backed a Kickstarter and saw in their backer's only updates that they were going to be looking for a writer. Even though it wasn't an actual job ad, I went ahead and submitted my portfolio to them thinking that the worst that could happen is they never reply. I got the job, and while I'm freelance

If you haven't bought Harvest Moon: A New Beginning yet, I really recommend it at this price. It has the mechanics of some of the newer HM games, but it also takes some cues from Animal Crossing and allows you to build the town from scratch. The townspeople themselves aren't really anything to write home about, but

Right place, right time? Doing it right now yo~

A summary of my life really.

I'm not really searching for anyone's opinion; "is it bad...?" is just an expression, after all. I know buying the game to end up only doing that is silly and thought I'd share :) no harm meant!

That's because some days they eat me :)

Is it bad that I bought Torchlight 2 over this because it has pets, and instead of playing the game, I keep creating new characters just to see the pet customization, start the first section, realize I really don't like games like this, and turn it off? Yeah, 'cause that's happened at least 10 times.

I would correct that to be "Sadly for some all writers words typed does not automatically equate to being good reads." Good books that are long are not intentionally made to be that long; if they were, then they'd most likely not very good because that's the last thing a writer should be worrying about.

Good to know!

I really respect them, honestly. I most certainly couldn't do it. You probably become much more apt at dealing with it after a while, but that beginning period... I'd probably be fired for punching someone.

Yeah, I think my parents' house is worth a hundred thousand more than they paid for it now? Which is awesome when the sell, but if they want to move somewhere new at any point, it's going to be competitive as all get-out. I moved into the area recently and want to get my own apartment, but it's expensive to live alone

The only Gamestop I frequent around here is the same way. They always breath a sigh of relief when I come in and once even told this kid obviously WAY younger than her that her friend (me) had arrived and she needed to speak to me. That kid then proceeded to try to hit on me. Interesting day.
