No.
Marijuana can aid muscle recovery because of it’s muscle relaxant and other properties, which come without the stress on the body that alcohol can cause that reduces performance. Using it during a competition cycle (so like, a couple days before or in between days of competition) can measurably increase performance…
WADA used to ban caffeine completely during competition for performance enhancing effects. They relaxed the ban because, well, so many people drink coffee and tea that a total ban was very unpopular. There are currently limits to how much caffeine an athlete can have in their system during competition (elite athletes…
Oof. Wishing you all the best Riley. Definitely going to miss your perspective here at Kotaku. Your tenure absolutely helped to take this site to a whole new level. Thanks for all the great stories and for being a steady hand on the wheel of a careening ship in a tumultuous sea.
Not to mention that this is... an objectively terrible price for a 1080p monitor, even a 27" one.
For $40 more you can get a comparable monitor (27", curved panel, 1ms, 144hz) from the same brand (MSI Optix line) in 1440p on Amazon with no code.

I have used Firefox since they launched in 64 bit and Waterfox before that, and this new UI is so bad that I want to change browsers, but I also hate chrome and opera is too lightweight for me and edge (shudders)... just no.
Not sure what I am going to do. Maybe I’ll go back to Waterfox if they still use the “classic”…
It’s not new technology just another iteration of existing technology. The “3D-ness” of audio has a lot more to do with how it is recorded and the sound design process/mixing and mastering of the audio than it has to do with the headphones you have. You have two ears. You can get very, very, very high quality 3D sound…
You shouldn’t pour boiling water down your drain. It can cause damage to the glue that holds PVC pipes together and lead to a leak over time. This is why you should run the water when draining things like pasta into the sink, too.
It miiiiiiiiight help loosen up some clogs, but really, just stick to the other methods…
I was an amateur olympic-style weightlifter with a clear path to nationals ahead of me. I got COVID last spring and it was hell. The absolute sickest and most frightening experience of my life.
I survived and did not need hospitalization, which, in the jargon of COVID means I had a “mild case.” I did, however, wind up…
Since we’re talking paper towels I want to throw out a plug for Reel brand paper towels. They are made from sustainably grown bamboo, are compostable, and come in packaging that includes no plastic and is fully compostable/recyclable, including the shipping box and tape (you can do either with it!).
I switched Reel…

I have always loved this level, personally. *shrug*
It was definitely annoying at first with the constant pausing but once I got used to it it was no big deal. When I learned about this I remember reading that it only works on Android phones, and not even all Android phones at that, but it’s been so long I can’t say where I got that info!
This new layout reminded me! Jim Spanfeller is a herb!
This works for me using Spotify on an Android phone. This guy does it with Google Play Music on Android. It’s what I have always done to record myself lifting and using my phone for tunes.
Here is an anecdotal experience of lingering symptoms.
I live in a second-story apartment with no garage or basement. In theory I could lift in the driveway, but my neighbors are always outside smoking and I’d have to lug all my equipment up and downstairs every day. Instead, I have taken a break from the classical (Olympic) lifts and am focusing on slow lifts I can do…
My cousin had this game and I fucking loved it. We played a ton of it at her house and beat it at least once. I haven’t played it since I was a kid, so who knows if nostalgia would beat out the gameplay being lackluster in 2020.
