I’m playing through Disco Elysium now with my Inland Empire pegged. Even unfinished I can’t wait to go through again with Drama or Savoir Faire maxed.

Always a nice treat when a work from an artist you enjoyed in your formative years isn’t just a nostalgia trip. *cough*cutchemist*cough*
It had a stilted feel and the final shoot out, which should have been glorious, was choppy and lacked flow. It had the feel of being directed by someone who has never directed live action before. Still, I loved the characters, and the casting (except the distracting Brian Posehn) was on point. Excited to see what…
We enjoyed it but we play a TON of co-op board games. This was something a little different and we appreciated it for that, but it is a terrible choice for someone moving on from say only Pandemic. The co-op in this one reminds me a bit of The Mind, wherein players must assess whether their terrible card is really…
The only reason I haven’t watched the last episode is because I’ll be sad when it is over.
Check out King of Comedy if you haven’t already and the parallels become even more apparent.

Oh I get to participate in the “Gamestop Reboot Initiative”? Sounds fun!
He’s never better than when contemplating perceived irrelevance and aging. See: Jackie Brown.
Started with such promise. Not since Preacher have I wanted to like a show more.
Super complex and interesting aren’t diametrically opposed. Arkham Horror LCG (through some minor miracle) manages to provide mechanically novel mechanics and goals in nearly every scenario.
I’d argue they should have included more varied goals than kill all the things or kill the big thing up front in the campaign then. If I wanted to dedicate more time to a single game I’d go back but there are way too many other games out there.
We were fine with the rules, though the flowchart for combat on bgg was helpful. My issue with the game was that the missions were somewhat repetitive and progress in leveling was slow. For someone who only owns one boardgame and plays twice a week it is a great proposition. We played seven or so missions before I…
Hereditary was certainly disappointing. I thought it was going for so much more than it ended up achieving. That there were some amazing horror and emotional moments in a flawed film gives me hope for the director’s future projects.
I loved Devil’s Rejects and really hope this is good. Love the grindhouse trailer!
Came to say something similar and to add that it also deals with the same themes Hollywood seems to, that is aging characters grappling with their obsolescence. The scenes with Grier and Forster in his office just chatting, are the scenes that have stuck with me of all things.
For the love of Tapper.
There were a couple of other interviews, notably the one where the Arya found out she was killing the night king and where Cersei found out she was buried in rubble with her brother where they were like, wait, what? That makes no sense, but go on to say they eventually saw the light.
Oh look, finally a celebrity who understands camp.
She was always a smart character, compassionate when she needed to be and cruel when she needed to be. Every decision she made and everything she endured was on the path to the throne. So she gets there and instantly turns everyone against her in order to rage-burn all King’s Landing civilians? My main gripe isn’t…
