Many people have turned to yucata.de, tabletop simulator, boardgamearena.com and other sites to play during thequarantine. As a result they’re playing and trying many games they wouldn’t have otherwise. Hopefully this translates to sales of physical copies once the quarantine is over.

Dang, you should have just said Americans need a 20k roadster and not suggested the Miata be more like a Camry. But where’s the fun in that I guess?

Seriously - did I miss the #sponsored tag somewhere, or is this also the final death knell of the AVClub?

I know this ep wasn’t directed by Bateman, but he did such a fantastic job in the first two eps I’ve gone back to check out Ozark, cuz the dude’s got a boatload of talent.

Something similar happened to my neighbor last week - she was by a 7-11 employee needed to input her phone number for 7-11 rewards with her purchase. The employee then took her number and, while slightly less horror movie than being trapped on a plane with a psycho, pulled the “hey, guess who this is?” and hit her up

I found it to be about how a system (government) can fail its most vulnerable citizens (mentally ill), and the repercussions thereof. Unfortunately it wasn’t handled in a very sophisticated way and the tired portrayal of white male victimization overshadowed the interesting themes.

Haha, I have can count on two hands the number of white/blue shirts I’ve bought that co-workers later informed me were pink/purple.

As the old saying goes, you can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can’t inspect your friends’ anus for melanoma.

I recently found out Disneyland scans your face upon entry. So this tracks.

Agreed re Lindeloff adding a polar bear for shock’s sake, but found it a bit more justified in that elephants have excellent memories and Lady Trieu is storing her grandfather’s memories in the elephant’s mind.

Targeting children and being terrible aren’t mutually exclusive.

Agreed, only someone who doesn’t watch Resistance would lump it in to support that argument. Even my most die hard SW fan friends have given up on it.

Oh damn completely forgot about Cabin in the Woods being this decade. Great call. Edge of Tomorrow was pretty fantastic too.

Not a fan of new Blade Runner but I agree with the others (except Fury) and would add Annihilation and The Favorite.
