Yeah, it seems like every episode I watch to learn something about the lore, there’s something else in it makes me want to watch another episode.

NTL;DR (not too long; did read)
I think that pretty much sums up the point of wrimo. And keep working at it; you’ll find that balance. I know I’m getting closer to it.
I think many successful writers, when giving advice, forget to say, “This is what works for me.” You have to find what works for you.
I got about 30k in and ran out of story. When I did it in 2012, I had the book plotted out so I knew where I was going. This time I decided to just start writing, with no idea where it was going. I had the basic premise from a short story, so I took off from there.
Thanks! Yes, I did see “Day of the Doctor” and now that you mention it, I remember it being mentioned that Gallifrey was hidden. So, yes, it makes sense that there are more Time Lords. And that would be who’s behind the trap since they would presumably be the ones who could pull this off.
I’m curious: how did you know the Time Lords were behind it? Also, I thought he was the last one...?
This is the first full season of Doctor Who I’ve ever watched and I’ve really enjoyed it. Capaldi is awesome and this episode put that on full display. The diamond room not resetting didn’t bother me at all. It felt right to me that it didn’t and I didn’t need an explanation. Normally something like that would bug the…
Gotta go OG on this:
Read - correction: devoured all the books and I loved this episode. Watched it twice so far because I can’t wait for the series to start. I thought they captured the books beautifully. I was surprised to see Avasarala appear so prominently so early, but if they wanted someone like Aghdashloo, it makes sense that they…
Yeah, it’s a tough line to draw.
Ah, so they’re registering IQ’s and technical abilities? :-) What, exactly IS “enhanced”? This is exactly the slippery slope that I hope they handle well in the movie.
“Sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth.” Helpful, Tony.
This just occurred to me: In the MCU, Stark no longer has the arc reactor permanently attached; the shrapnel was surgically removed in Iron Man 3. So does that mean Stark doesn’t have to register, but Iron Man (and War Machine) does? That would make for an interesting situation.
Which is what egotistic people tend to do when they’re feeling guilty. I’m sure he’s thinking if HE couldn’t be trusted, how could anyone?
Tony: “If we can’t accept limitations, we’re no better than the bad guys.”
I’m pretty sure Typeface died, so that’s cool.
I like that they didn’t torture us with days of teasers for the trailer.
The comics ENDED awful, but there was some really good stuff along the way.
As soon as Clemmons said, “I’m two years from full retirement” I thought: “And about two days from death.”
