Yeah, let’s not be unreasonable. Nerd rage needs an outlet, even if it’s kicking over dockless scooters and being mean to civil servants.

I saw someone on Twitter droning on about AOC’s credit score and I was like, “Fuck, yes. She automatically has more in common with more Americans and their struggles just with this.”
Yeah, at the univeristy where I work, some guy did some really interesting research into the success of public-use adaptations of post-Olympics stadiums (psssst, the Olympics are a boondoggle.) Interesting look at architecture, economics and culture of the issue.
Seconded. I do not care for the Coach Steve character (oddly, I find his monster pretty funny.) It’s just too far over tragic to be funny to me.
The use of OutKast’s “Happy Valentine’s Day” and accompanying animation had me legit grinning like a fool throughout the closing credits.
I am so grateful for e-readers. I have over 1,200 titles on it. I could build house of books if they were in physical form. ( . . . Or more likely, die when a tower of them crash down on me.)
My mom (b. 1946) grew up in Richmond and would tell stories about how her highschool class had it as a point of pride that they were the last class to graduate unintegrated and told stories about Confederate ancestors. As an adult, it’s horrifying.
Don’t worry man, we’re just one “disruption” away from all state schools except the flagships being remade into vo-tech. The financial and political power positions will still go to graduates of the Ivies because they have endowments that will weather any number education revolutions that fuck the rest of us.
Culture disaster aside, a big part of this is the terrible way to pay for higher education and what “higher education” even means to these weird football cultists. What a toxic sludge of finacing.
It was a real shame, because the murals should be highlighted. Wonderoot is the art collective that worked on it and they did a good, thoughtful job. Closing down the 20 million dollar bridge to the public that we were told was needed for SB53 is some bullshit.
I went downtown to see what was going on (it’s the Super Bowl) and people watch. My favorite was it was mid-60's, sunny afternoon and so many of the Patriots’ fans were dressed in matchy outfits with full-on winter hats, scarves and gloves.

The most clapback I’ve seen was when Coke was handing out football-themed bottles (NOT Superbowl themed #nolawsuit) downtown on Friday.
He was good as the best friend in that little Netflix romcom. Still annoyed that we had to watch the bland central couple so much rather than Lucy Liu and Taye Diggs snipe at eachother on their way into true love.
I hate them because watching the Falcons/Pats superbowl was like watching a sports metaphor the 2016 election.
Never forget:
I’m in Atlanta and am 100% waiting for a city-wide request that residents be volunteer TSA staff for Superbowl.
That sounds like the best fro-yo flavor ever.
I know this is a comedy, but the very idea of 70 credit cards made me break out into a cold sweat on the inside.
This one drives me wild with rage. I’m a Type 1 diabetic and with insulin, I’m productive, healthy and work to help others. Without it, I’m in the ER in less than 48 hours, about to die. How the fuck can this be good for anyone? Even the most beady-eyed Utilitarian has got to agree that this is an appalling waste for…
