Totally agree about the jetta being a good drive. I have driven the current jetta TSi and a current gen mazda 3. As far as driving goes the jetta soundly wins. Much much better engine,+ european ride/handling.

To be fair the current Jetta has actually morphed into a good car. When it debuted ,VW took it way down market, but they realised their mistake and made some improvements over the life of the car.

But audi is now trying to make Rwd, and rear biased AWD. SO they are going to meet each other in the middle.

I just cant stand what they did to the rear of the car. The previous 2 gens were so much better.
