Microsoft has done everything possible to pretend people don’t play games on PC (at a higher rate than people play games on xbox). I just don’t see them really changing their minds this far along and trying to appeal to PC gamers on their own terms.

Well... If you are gaming on Windows you probably upgraded to Windows 10 a long time ago because you want the best performance you can get... The sticking to Windows 7 people are mostly just this system generation’s version of the XP is good enough for me and no one can make me change crowd.

I enjoyed BL2 and really enjoyed the DLC for it but everything else they have done the last few years has been pretty terrible, not done very well, or pretty much a blatant lie and cash grab. I don’t remember the last time I immediately regretted a purchase as much as I did within the first five minutes of Borderlands…

Honestly, Bad Blood isn’t entirely terrible, it is just really boring and incredibly limiting compared to New Order. On its own it probably would have been just a brief blip that was soon forgotten, being connected to New Order absolutely ruins it though.

The Valt-tec mod looked pretty good until the last shot that made it look like the stupid mobile game, I really hope there is more to it than that.

Wolfenstein New Order was so damn ridiculously good (sadly Old Blood was a massive let down but what can you do).

If by great you mean that only a small handful of the vehicles had been tested and tuned and most of the vehicles handled sloppy as all hell and exerted very little impact force which made any mission that involved chasing and stopping a vehicle into the very worst driving missions to be found in any open world…

The motorcycles handled surprisingly well and it was weird the way that there were a small handful of cars that handled great and everything else was terrible. It was like they only bothered to test or balance a couple of vehicles and just slapped the rest in after the fact.

And yet with just a couple of ini tweaks it was possible to achieve most of what they showed so it was still there and there was no reason it should have been disabled by default on the PC version.

True except that the finished game could look like the preview version, they just disabled the graphics settings so that console players would not be upset by how different the game looked on PC. Hence why I said they lied about the graphics.

You apparently forget what happened with the first one.

I actually felt that the guns were one of the few things Watchdogs did that was actually better than similar games like GTA.

I wonder if they will lie about the graphics in Watchdogs 2 as well, and will the driving still be just absolutely terrible? Inquiring minds want to know!

I don’t remember if you could go first person in HW, I am pretty sure that was in Cataclysm though.

So the gates were opened to a whole big crowd of new people who really don’t understand how modding or hardware limitations work and they immediately got pissed, started sending death threats and stealing people’s work... Did anyone not expect exactly this to happen?

Finally, I stopped playing the remaster almost imediately to wait for formations to get fixed so now I can finally play the game through again.

Paid mods are nothing but a giant shit show and the idea is incompatible with a huge number of mods out there which share assets. I hope they never get it off the ground.

For some reason it is. I can’t imagine why though, it is ugly and pointless.

The 480 looks like it will fill a pretty good sized market niche but I am far more concerned with what, if anything, is going to land in the 490X or Fury X 2 space. My 290X is getting a little long in the tooth even if it does handle most games in 1440, I want to get into a better card by the end of the year.
