Last time I built a new gaming rig I just threw the optical drive away, no need for those relics anymore. Also, I am pretty sure the natural state for optical drives is stuck.

If I was making mods for Fallout 4 and people were harassing me about console versions I would just make every mod require F4SE and call it a day. Let them rage all day at that barrier.

It has Steam workshop support right out the gate though so don’t expect a shortage of mods.

It makes a certain sense. The main character certainly feels like a bland android and the whole back story is so ridiculous and generally out of place that throwing a wrench in it like, “surprise, you are actually just a really confused machine” would hardly be a less probably story.

I have not read it. I read the Sprawl trilogy (and Difference Engine) and while I enjoyed the plot very much I found his writing style rather bland so have not read the rest of his novels. (Side note, don’t ever trying listening to the Neuromancer audio book read by Gibson himself, it is the worst).

Comparing Hatsune Miku to cyberpunk is the biggest affront to cyberpunk I have seen in a hell of a long time.

Flagship phones are always the way to go anyway. I doubt it will be offloading processing to a server but unless they are turning it into a single player game it will require being online to function. Then again, rebooting 11 for phones seems like a weird thing to even do.

Early Access is basically the only way some really niche games by small developers are ever going to get made. Paying for early access for a game from a big publisher that is releasing the game in a couple of months is basically just the old beta process but now you have to pay for it and it is pretty dumb but that…

I am sure there is more to Second Life than just furrys and weird sex but there is so much weird sex that it is the first, second, and probably third thing you encounter. The two times I tried to figure out what Second Life was all I found was creepy and sad sex themed content.

Arkham City? The game from 2011? It runs great on PC and it always did. Do you mean Arkham Knight? The game from 2015? That also works great on PC and has for a long time now, even if it didn’t at release (personally, I had no trouble at all playing all the way through it before the patch came out).
