2005 Subaru Legacy GT. Turbocharged. AWD. 5-speed. Wagon. Drove it for 10 years. It was an absolute blast to drive. Wasn’t the fastest thing on Earth but I didn’t care. It stuck like glue and was quick enough to get places in a hurry. Would probably still be driving it if the turbo didn’t fail so spectacularly.

All gears: Stop. Making. So. Many. SUVs. All of your problems will be fixed. You’re welcome.

But...couldn’t the “winners” just lie and vote for someone else? I would. Yes, they had to sign a petition and all that. But that doesn’t force you to vote for Trump. And Musk or anyone else would have no way of knowing if you did or didn’t. “Oh - yeah I voted for Trump. Honest.Seems like even more of a stupid, and

I like the cut of your jib.

I see it more as ‘future points of failure.’ Take headlight washers. Does anyone really need them? No. But they’re out there. I bet you can count on one hand how many times an owner has used them and have fingers left over. Automatic parallel parking? Never seen or heard of anyone using it yet people are getting

“I hate what HD has become! I going to destroy the motorcycle I spent thousands of dollars on by shooting it with thousands of dollars in ammo! That will show them!”

You should walk it between the terminals. Don’t kid yourself - its a long walk but they have all kinds of art and other displays down there that make it interesting. And yes, you also need a lot of time between your departures to make the walk but its well worth it if you can.

The ‘gamefication’ of charging. You’re making a long trip and have to charge somewhere other than your house? Well... Find a charger, hope its working, pray there aren’t ten people waiting in front of you or some douchenozzle hasn’t cockblocked it, download an app to use the charger, sign up with the company, setup an

Stretching the rules a bit... but every school bus and mail truck should be electric. They are the poster child for electrification: 1) They don’t need to go fast so battery life could be improved. Imagine how big a battery you could have in a school bus? 2) They run most of the time driving in town with lots of stops

Now let us order it without all that plastic cladding. Sales will increase dramatically.

How about the Gas Tax? That hasn’t changed in years and is woefully behind the times. Look into making it ‘miles driven’ and not ‘gallons used.’ With more and more non-gasoline-using cars entering the roads, the gas tax won’t be bringing in near as much. Combine it with the Mandatory Inspections and now you have a way

Spoiler alert: Anything that’s available as a wagon or a hatchback.

3rd Gear - Too bad Volvo just killed the S60 which had a PHEV trim. That seems like a next logical step before going full EV. But I guess that was too obvious a solution. But if it’s not a SUV, it’s not relevant.

This is why I’m giving some serious thought to a Volvo S60 Recharge as my next car. It gets ~40miles of pure electric range. I could go back and forth to work every day with that using a standard 120 plug. Oh, and it has a 300hp 4-cyl for anything farther. Something like this makes far too much sense for most people

I just wish I caught something half as interesting on my dash cam

If you can discount something $20k it’s crazy expensive to start with.

I don’t do it very often, but I tape it most of the way closed. Not completely because I still want to breathe - I am able to open my mouth a small bit. Cuts down on snoring greatly and still can breathe fine. Its more for other people in the room, not me.

“Woof! Woof!” = “Hey I’m a dog! Hey I’m a dog!”

Wow - That Lexus RZ is seven kinds of ugly.
