From what I have heard from a friend who has met her / is on the periphery of her circle it seems like she’s very sweet to her friends, but is a very private person / feels uncomfortable around a lot of people and her discomfort comes off as rude and snobby.

Probably she, like many people, just bought a bengal because it was pretty, and didn’t look into the breed’s temperament. They are sweet, but veryyyy energetic and usually a little feisty.
