It’s amazing to me the things people expect out of animals that they wouldn’t expect out of kids. “I need a quiet cat that doesn’t shed or ever make messes and won’t destroy my furniture” is something we get a lot. You should check out Vaginal Fantasy on Goodreads/Youtube. They’re a genre romance bookclub run by Felicia Day, and every month has a different theme. Usually 75% of the books each year are sci-fi fantasy. Recently they read Fortune’s Pawn by which was really good.
