Shut yo face! I just can’t handle that image. That is so sad to me. Pets love their people and to think of him waiting for her just hits me in the heart.

Oh god, now I have tears in my eyes thinking about the little man waiting by the door and expecting Carrie to walk in any time now... :’( The love that she had for that dog was so beautiful ❤️

Wow, if anyone should get to enjoy some drinking, it’s a 97-year-old, for Chrissake. Tell that daughter to leave her mama alone!

Carrie’s brother Todd was interviewed on last night’s 20/20. He made it sound like Debbie spent much of her lifetime caring for Carrie, and vice versa.

I’m crying because Apparently Bilie lived with them and would take turns sleeping in either Debbie’s or Carrie’s house because they were all super close.

I have a profound appreciation for Hollywood people who live in homes that aren’t polished within an inch of their lives. Debbie and Carrie were down to earth, funky Californians, in spite of their fame. I think it explains why everyone is so moved by their deaths. They were relatable, the kind of people you want to

I am not ready for this, and yet I need it.

I have been really down about their deaths, and watching Carrie Fisher interviews has been the thing that has kept me going. She is so fucking hilarious that I will be on the verge of tears before starting the video and then laughing out loud once she starts talking.

Omg! The Gary shots are making this for me, as is the conversation Carrie has with Debbie over the old phone. My mother and I had that very conversation a couple months ago. Lord. I love this clip so much. Can’t wait to see it, even if it still hurts to know they aren’t around.

Same thought I had. Disney’s Grey Gardens.

In the interview she did with Madonna, she mentions being late for the interview because a friend with AIDS had an emergency. I wonder if she was at the time being diplomatic and not sharing that the friend had, in fact, just died in her bed.

I know. I blubber up every time they show Gary Fisher and I imagine him getting up and wagging his tail hopefully that it’s his mom every time a door opens.

It looks like a perfect companion piece to (as the flip side of) Grey Gardens: They were the opposite of the Beales, a mother-daughter pair who actually achieved everything for themselves and gave back for others, rather than spending a life dreaming. This will be a must see.

He became a born-again Christian in the late 80s, and it did in fact put a bit of a strain on his relationships with Carrie and Debbie. But while not as close to his mother, all three of them remained quite affectionate and respectful of differing points of view.

My god. It’s like the Disney version of Grey Gardens.

20/20 did a special on them last night, and showed a couple of short clips from this documentary. they also interviewed Todd Fisher (Carrie’s brother/Debbie’s son) about how close their relationship was. I kept wondering what his relationship was like with the two of them, and whether he ever felt left out of their

I am so going to watch this and have a lot of tissues next to me. Can we have a live blog or something?

Oh man I don’t think i can watch this just yet. Even thinking about Fisher and Reynolds makes me sad, so I think i will be an emotional wreck if I watch this movie.

Carrie brought her mom Mac and Cheese. Why is this making me cry?
