We know who found the time capsule!
Agreed! Plus she's pregnant. I feel like messing with pregnant ladies will get you, at the very least, some side eye.
Seriously though, the Olicity scene and the life flash part.
Seriously, Greenpeace? It's called photoshop!
...the hell? They could've just taken pictures from the air and photoshopped the message on them! There was no need to actually go there and make these letters! And it's not just a moral offense, Greenpeace, it's an ecological one. You know, that thing you claim to care about.
Tell my wife and her large bottom that she doesn't work hard. Just let me film it and put it on the Internet.
The best James Bond movie of all time is From Russia With Love. It's not even close. However, I will concede that Goldfinger is the first Bond movie to have all the elements that one would think of as comprising the Bond formula (and that would eventually become Bond tropes and cliches), so it's much more archetypal…
Now they should have Martin Freeman, Ian McKellan, and Orlando Bloom cosplay as Stephen for his farewell next week.
Definite Cumberbatch fatigue here. Yes, he's a good actor. No, he shouldn't have played Khan and he shouldn't be Dr. Strange. He doesn't look like Strange, for one, and while he has a grew voice, there are plenty of actors with great voices who would fit the part better.
Those are some of my favorites too. Add Bautista as Drax, to a lesser extent Ruffalo as Banner... there's been some great performances by actors would weren't big names.
No hating from me on this movie. It's one of my all-time favorites and hit on all the right cylinders for me. It was WAY better than I'd expected it to be and was a ton of scenery-chewing fun. One of my guilty pleasures, and my daughter's too. Awesome movie. :)
It really shouldn't surprise us that Inside Out is looking strong. After all, it comes from director Pete Docter, who also directed Up and Monsters Inc.
My personal vitriol re: Cumberbatch as Strange is because I am honestly Cumberbatched out. I feel like he's everywhere right now, and so adding him to yet another genre franchise has essentially acted as my last straw. Which no one cares about, particularly Marvel, and that's fine.
I think folks just have Cumberbatch fatigue. Also, I saw more folks on io9 bitching about a pasty white guy being used for Strange as opposed to wanting someone black or non-Caucasian. Most comments I saw recommended darker Caucasians.
Anne's hair is not nearly fabulous enough to be Beverly.
What, just because they're both blue? Not all blue people are related, you know.
I really wish people would stop snarking about GoTG being "the heroes nobody has heard of" because, honestly, once you get past Superman, Batman and (perhaps) Wonder Woman it only takes mild exaggeration for that to apply to the cast of every fraking comic book movie ever.
That was hilarious. "What are you gonna do, watch D.C.?"
