The future is uncertain and this part:

Oh god the standing around.  I don’t understand it.  Do they normally stand around in the kitchen like a robot waiting for orders?  I doubt it.  Why can’t they just sit their own asses down and make it comfortable for us to do so???

we should start a support group for east coasters unappreciated on the wrong coast

don’t put non-food things in food

My friend sent me that tweet because I complain a lot about the west coast version of manners. East coast manners are more formal; I have almost a procedure I follow every time someone is in my house, it includes providing a beverage, any house rules, and letting people know exactly where the bathroom is upfront so

To be fair, sometimes their Superbowl statement is “We have big honking horses”

Ballsy as hell for the NYT to weigh in on working class values when their entire home/lifestyle section is the definition of rich people problems.

Neither of these sounds necessary, which is too bad because I enjoy their dark chocolate and espresso chips.

Very funny until three or seven years from now when she’s running for President.

That’s only the most extreme example of how states are interconnected.  States compete for federal resources and a poorly managed state is a more expensive one.

Does anyone else just get really mad at themselves for doing something stupid?

Usually I end up leaving. But there was one woman at my last workplace who was just... a poor fit for the position in every way. She was one of those who talked a good game and so got hired from outside for this management position but she wasn’t remotely effective at her job. Because she wasn’t effective, she was

I moved not-so-long ago and I found out from a FB rabbithole that a surprising number of people I worked with in my 20s (several states away) now live 45 minutes from me.  We were young and drunk most of the time and now they have kids and stuff.

It’s potentially important to keep in mind how Wanda appeared to be very much in control of reality in the previous episode’s final moments, when she rewound time in response to being confronted by a beekeeper mysteriously emerging from a manhole in the middle of the road.

Maybe it’s not the best idea to get up and watch an episode of tv to post a recap before anyone has even gotten to watch it...

I mean I will use the meme that allows me to communicate the exact feeling I am having, no matter how old. People can roll their eyes, idc.
