Korean and 101 Asian Dishes to make before you Die were last winter.  I need fresh inspiration.

My last apartment was the third floor of a house from the late 1800s.  There was zero design involved, it was just stuff where it would fit.  The kitchen was large but mostly disjointed. There was some regular depth counter top around the sink (which was normal size but not divided, one large basin, I did dishes in a

I would like to watch this because I like Hoechlin’s Superman. But I can’t look at Bitsie Tulloch and not see Juliette. And Juliette was a drip (and then evil, and then a kinda evil drip) and Lois feels like she can go the same way.

Mine too! And my doors and my trim.  I was told I should paint them, but I just went with a modernish color and started to bide my time....

I mean probably, but also probably better I numb myself with episode after episode of Say Yes to the Dress or Guy’s Grocery Games than drink too much, or heaven forbid, actually face how much pandemic life sucks.

There was some of the self-consciousness of the new immigrant: did you really want your house to smell like schmaltz, or chicken fat, the preferred fat of Ashkenazi Jewish cooks, which would identify you as a greenhorn?

As a person on her second home with textured walls, NO.

Yep, it’s one part I like to eat adventurously/cook and want company and one part I do not have the patience for trying to change anyone who cannot be bothered to change themselves.

Inaugurations, not presidents. They still have second inaugurations!

I don’t think he’s goofy, I think he’s authentic.  Just being himself, a grandpa from Vermont.  Also he’s lived through 19 fricken inaugurations now, I don’t blame him for looking unimpressed.

Actually they should pair with Starbucks, get your vaccine and then you can order off a special menu, bring back the unicorn mermaid nonsense.

“Seriously, dude?” Ally asked after watching Brad eat buttered noodles off a paper plate for the fourth night in a row. She’s slowly expanded his culinary horizons since then, helping him realize the foods he “didn’t like” were based on opinions he’d formed as a 7-year-old. “Just try it,” became her mantra, and more

I loved that outfit. Hell yeah turn up in a ballgown with the dove of peace over your heart.

Great customer service ethic both in adding requested dishes and describing what is important to his clientele (bones or note, greasy or not).

Who wouldn’t go wild for a show about the time between the dance seen at the end of Endgame, and old Cap from Endgame, especially now with the news of Chris Evans potentially coming back? What was their life like?

Fortunately she minds my boundaries now.

It’s true.  The main symptom of my seasonal allergies is a sore throat and I’m convinced I’m dying every time.

I was exposed to covid in February... didn’t know until much later... about 10 days later I came down with a weird thing, my main symptoms were also sore throat and fatigue. It was so mild I kinda doubted staying home from work but I did anyway because I didn’t want to talk when my throat felt like that. The symptoms

I had my last week of leadership training this week. It’s supposed to be part networking, but that mostly went out the window when we had to go virtual. I am not too sad about it now, since there wasn’t much leadership on display. Lowlights included “It’s not my job to lead [people I don’t supervise through] change,”

IDK, she’d actually have to do work that she can’t outsource to China. I can see her running a campaign to grift off the donations though.
