My mom and I were at the discount store, waiting in line. She was talking and not paying attention when they opened another checker and someone cut in front of us before I could break her off. It happened to be a woman of color and my mother said something racist.

It is not! There are all these articles about it and there are no sales listed and no online orders for TWO WEEKS.

Yeah they should go with the Disney model of labeling it... instead of “outdated cultural depictions” it should be “contains terrifying veneration of the wealthy leading to white supremacy”

I’ve yet to encounter a soup that solves any more of my issues besides occasional hunger, but sometimes, after that first spoonful, it does seem possible.

Yeah it’s not always lack of access but lack of access to someone who is empathetic and motivated to provide care.

It’s like how the second beer is always better, and so good you become convinced the third is an excellent idea, the best idea ever.

Hope springs eternal for all, but over here I’m hoping we’re witnessing the end of the Republican party.  

I don’t think the aftercare is really provided.  The single episode I watched the people just got referred elsewhere... no telling if they got help. 

I never fail to be horrified that our health care system is so bad people have to live with conditions like that.  Or that it’s packaged for entertianment.
