I haven't even made it to Coven yet. I enjoyed the glorious ridiculousness of the first season, but so far have only managed two episodes of Asylum, which so far is a much less entertaining kind of ridiculous. Although with everything I've heard about The Name Game and other bits coming up, I keep thinking that I

Oh my god, The Blues Song. It is a glory.

"Anyone out there for Gaius, who is my least favorite?" When I started watching this on Netflix, I decided fairly early that I could not wait for Gaius to die. Imagine my disappointment when I looked at IMDb and saw that he was around for the whole damn series. Probably the only TV character I hate more than him is

I saw them open for the Pixies a few years back, and they were awesome.

It is physically impossible for me to even think about Carry On My Wayward Son and *not* think of Supernatural. Damn Winchester boys!

It is one of my great regrets that I have never had the opportunity to see Oingo Boingo live, and the liklihood of a reunion tour is not very good. Their live "Farewell" album is really amazing, and that is where this version of Insects stems from; it also pops up on their two-disc anthology.

I'm a bit late today, but here goes:

We were apparently on the same wavelength about D2, since I posted about it a minute after you.

I was going to rant about how The Killers could "win" this when Simon Le Bon exists, but I see that Duran Duran did make the top 10. Although I would probably swap out The Reflex for Union of the Snake's "Shake up the picture, the lizard mixture."

Neko Case – Polar Nettles
David Bowie – Fashion
The Beatles – Lady Madonna
Lou Reed – Strawman
Rufus Wainwright – When You’re Smiling (The Whole World Smiles With You) [Live]

I enjoyed the live broadcast. Sure, it wasn't quite the same, but it was fun, and watching John Cleese get distracted and lose his place was somewhat amusing. I was also happy that they included Carol Cleveland, since she was practically a seventh member in the series.

I was just going to post that Drive is one of my favorite R.E.M. tracks. Kind of want to listen to it now.

My first concert was the Osmonds, and Donny was in a Weird Al video, so we're practically twins! I later saw Weird Al opening for The Monkees, which was an awesome show.
