Strangely, I had already switched to the Newest view, because I initially wasn't even finding a shuffle thread, and I knew it had to have been started already. Curse you Disqus!!!!

Did the initial Shuffle Thread post get removed? I'm just seeing a bunch of individual posts which have the arrow denoting a reply but the space for the name of who they are replying to is blank. Weird. Whatever, I'm replying here!

SPC ECO – Fallen Stars

Well, I wouldn't claim even a sliver of his talent, but I think there a certain sensibility that we share. I have been known to change song lyrics for my amusement. Mainly regarding my cats.

Yay for Weird Al, who is awesome. And shares my birthday.

Haunted is one of those songs that I will just play on repeat three or four times when it pops up in my shuffle.

I love the UK Surf version of Wave of Mutilation.

It is an awesome album.

As someone who grew up abbreviating "South" just as "S", for the longest time I thought it was just the word "So" with random arty punctuation. When one of my friends said the title out loud, it was like d'oh!

Which was funny until he started coming over to the car which was at a stop light. He wasn't Johnny. He

Indie Boy is a giant Lynch fan, and I most definitely am not. His movies always look great - the cinematography is gorgeous - and they always sound like they'll be interesting, but then I watch it and just want to punch someone. The only ones I like are The Elephant Man and The Straight Story.

Ah, Kindergarten Cop. My #1 movie guilty pleasure. I will always stop and watch to the end if I find it while skipping channels.

Devendra Banhart – Sligo River Blues
Austra – Shoot the Water

Sonic Youth – Swimsuit Issue

Sean's description of Avril's song struck me enough that I stupidly clicked on the video. It really *is* worse than it sounds. It didn't make it very far. Yikes.
