Man, every scene in that movie featuring Steve Zahn, Illeanna Douglas, or William H. Macy is gold. The whole romance between tye leads just drag it down. I need alternate cuts of this (and High Fidelity) that cuts out the boring romantic crap and focuses on the good parts of the movie.

Those Darlins – Cannonball Blues
Creedence Clearwater Revival – Run Through the Jungle
The Smiths – Nowhere Fast
Cornelius – Count Five or Six
Jeff Buckley – Eternal Life

Well, the jokes on them, because I moved away and have failed to reproduce, so ha! Which is too bad for them, sinced I upped the diversity of the town by being one of the few who was 1) notVolga-German, 2) not Catholic, and, most importantly, 3) not related to anyone in town outside my immediate family. Plus, my

The pact has been made!

Oh, yeah, I got very giddy when she announced the shows this fall, but quickly realised that unless I won the lottery (which would require me to actually play the lottery), I wasn't going. I didn't include the live waiting just because, as someone who has lived in the U.S. midwest all my life, I had pretty much

Well, the first movie of his I saw was Breaking the Waves, which I hated, but not nearly as much as Dancer in the Dark, which I shut off halfway through despite my love of Bjork. He has a few other movies that sound interesting, but I just keep putting off watching due to my previous distaste for his work.

Gotta go with Kate Bush. Twelve years between The Red Shoes and Aerial, then another six until The Director's Cut, although that was surprisingly quickly followed by 50 Words for Snow the same year.

We had a Junior/Senior prom, but I also had a graduating class of 30, so it was less about hipster and more just getting enough bodies to make up a decent dance.

Yeah, that really tickled me. I liked that they didn't comment on it, but krpt it in the frame.

Queen Adreena – Hotel After Show
Calexico – Attack El Robot! Attack!
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – Lovely Creature
Antony & The Johnsons – Shake That Devil
Fuzzbox - Beauty

They mentioned that she got an anonymous tip.

"I mean, they’re basically in disguise. Yo La Tengo fans will recognize them, definitely, but most people won’t." No offense, but I don't think the fact that they're in disguise would be the primary reason for most people to not recognize them. Only a small percentage of the people I know would even have heard of

U2 - Angel of Harlem
DOM - Rude as Jude
Medicine - She Knows Everything
The Mynabirds - LA Rain
Curve - Missing Link (Screaming Bird Mix)

Was I the only one getting a serious The Shining vibe from the score this episode? I kept expecting Jack Nicholson to show up with an ax.

Much like Kyle, I have two much older sisters (10 and 14 years) with tastes pretty much diametrically opposed to mine. When I was going around with a Dead Milkmen back patch on my jacket, they were insisting that some day I would start listening to country, and that I'd eventually marry a farmer. (Nope and nope.)

I *did* have a DVR when I still deigned to pay for cable, but that stopped four years ago, so now it's antenna all the way. Hannibal is one of the few shows I bother watching live (along with it's former Thursday night compatriots Parks & Rec and Community).

Okay, I had to leave the room briefly to attend to dinner, and this is apparently what I missed. I'll have to watch that part online.

I believe they do occasionally do site visits, but I have no idea what the parameters are (and even if I did, that's not a talk about in a public forum type of thing). Certainly in the contex of the episode, it was way wrong.

That was driving me crazy!!! Seriously, hit Google when writing stuff like this.

I didn't actually attend school there. Between my sophomore and junior years, I did a cultural exchange program in the summer and spent a month in London, which was great fun despite the ongoing bus strikes that occasionally disrupted group plans. I also spent three weeks in Estonia, shortly before they
