I honestly miss going to Spirits of Halloween, this year.  Never for the costumes, but most of my decorations (which we’re not putting up this year) come from there--and got some good stuff on clearance, last year.  But what I miss the most is their big set pieces that were set up with activation pads in the middle of

!!  That’s horrible!  I am so sorry, I wish I could help somehow.

Not trying to be alarmist, but it probably is good that you’re concerned, in the sense that it’s getting you to act.  I’d say if the pain continues or worsens even with the adjustments, might be worth talking to someone officially.  (Said as someone who did do themselves some long term damage that can’t be reversed

and gives me all those Sega vibes from the days of stuff like NiGHTs etc.

Uf.  And I hear you on the “last Dell”--my last experience with them was also why I built my first PC!  I’d heard great things about Asus from so many people... going to assume/hope this is a one-off, and I’m just lucky.  (Bad is also luck, after all!)

Yeahp, bought it in June. Which in a way is good, because it means most of what I’ve had done is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.  (Though yesterday the tech in question explained to me that there are no good gaming laptops, and the merits of his custom super-build.  Which I get, I built my last PC--with

Off-topic computer update: So, got it back on Thursday, just to have it die that evening when I tried to install Windows updates. Took it back on Saturday morning; was told they were going to do a clean install of Windows, shouldn’t take long. Got the call that night, picked it up on Sunday morning. Brought it home,

Even Zoom does not save those sort of meetings, alas.

Another boring “both”, here.  I started on JRPGs and still love them, but also love Western RPGs--especially those where I can create my own character and contribute to choices throughout the game.  So really, speaking in very broad terms, it comes down to whether I want to play through a story or be a part of one

Was coming here to ask more or less the same question.  :)

So not being enough that we’re dealing with the remnants of Delta, came in this morning to find an isolated rainstorm inside, too!  Nothing to do with the weather, ironically.  A problem that had been looked at on Friday worsened, thus the flooding.  May have worked out for the best in the end, though:  the second

Hear you on the weekends.  I keep telling myself I’ll push through and get more done, but usually ends up only being the absolute necessary.  :/

Dropped mine off yesterday.  I was very glad to see security on-site.

Such a relief!!!

I need that.  Meant to be 77 here tomorrow.  No thanks.

It’s made up for anything and everything, today.  And thank you for the well wishes!

We got the good news this morning:  negative.  :D  (I would’ve updated the comment, but it won’t let me edit, so I stuck it in today’s instead.)  Thank you for the well wishes!

Update from yesterday:  Mum’s test came back negative!  Thank God.

Thanks.  :)  No word yet, but watching email and phone like a hawk!

Appreciate the info!  Still probably note the thing for me at the present time, but sounds like something at least approachable when I’m more receptive.  :)
