I will never play EVE Online, but I will also never get tired of reading about people who do play it.

Sounds like you get it perfectly! Because yeah, none of this is written down or anything—I just know my characters, make some decisions, and act accordingly. :) I remember in Fable III after a certain character death... the game moves on, but my character wouldn’t. So she spent a lot of time killing those enemies over

I have a harder time doing it in games where the character is fully set for you. Stuff like Dragon Age is still easy enough, there’s just enough autonomy that even though you’re always that character, you can define who it is. Greedfall is a little bit more difficult but manageable. Something like The Witcher,

Uf, that’s rough!  Is it worthwhile to uninstall the lot and just start from scratch, along with a new game?  Sometimes that’s actually helpful; I went through my mods with a fine-tooth comb before starting this run.  (And have a weird artefact from one mod that was uninstalled, but it’s actually helpful, so I just

:D  Thank you!  It’s one of the things that keeps it replayable for me.  It also helps me reconcile some things.  Like, I prefer stealth, but thieves and assassins are generally considered evil.  But!  Here you have a khajiit who came to Skyrim, and without knowing anything about her, decide she’s a thief.  But the

I believe you can get married in the base game, and also buy certain houses in town. If you have the Hearthfire expansion, you can build a much larger manor in a hold, adopt children, and the children can adopt pets. (Be warned, I ended up with a dog and a fox, but girls can also bring home bunnies, and boys can bring

You manage to make me excited for a game I don’t even play!  LOL

I never bother to list Animal Crossing, mostly because it’s a guaranteed daily thing.  I do want to get some time in on the bugfest, although I hope there are some updated prizes this time around.

My restarted Skyrim save is coming along nicely. On the domestic side, I married Balimund, adopted Sofie and Sissel, who in turn adopted Meeko and a fox. We were living in Riften for awhile, but the girls didn’t like it, so when I had the opportunity to become Thane of the Pale I took it, and now everyone is situated

It was an Army guy I was trying to help, actually. LOL Farmed it out to two Marines, and the guy who ended up helping the most had been Secret Service.  But I’ll tell you, it was really cool seeing everyone come together to give this the best possible chance of being pushed through.

Didn’t say that I sleep “well”.  ;)  I just don’t have much of a choice.  To get it to... say, 68 upstairs at night, I’d have to set the AC to something like 62.  I can’t swing that electric bill.

You’ve got fires out there in places too, don’t you?  :(

Absolutely!

Yesterday I was asked to review a Buddy Statement as part of an effort for someone to receive a Purple Heart. I’m not an amazing writer, but I was at least able to help him clean up the fundamental basics. I also made a distinct effort to leave his wording and tone, as it needs to sound like he wrote it, and all the

Same.  The way I sleep best is in a cool room with a hot blanket.  Unfortunately, I’m lucky if it’s 77 upstairs when I go to bed tonight.  Very grateful for this cooler spell we’re having now, even (especially?) if it doesn’t last.  About a month ago it was 103 when I walked out to my car after work.

You have improved my day considerably.  Thank you!  :D

Can there be sleepy dog pics, or too much a hassle with kinja?

Makes you feel just great for being proactive, doesn’t it?  I’m sorry.

Off-topic (but a follow-up): Boss lady’s test results came back NEGATIVE!! :D
