These make up my Mum’s favourite genre on the PC. ^_^ (On her 2DS, it’s puzzle games.) Win for me, as they’re easily affordable! Never thought to see a mention of them here, but as she enjoys Mike’s Snacktaku videos, this should make her happy.

I remember using the JogCon and loving it—if it hadn’t been mentioned in the article, I would’ve posted it in the comments (thank you!). Really makes me wish I’d gotten a chance to try the other.

Very much enjoyed these as well! Although I’m a bit troubled that the author says he’s “finished” with that world, when there really seemed to be some threads left dangling. I do hope for more.

I can second the recommendation for Miles Cameron’s Traitor Son Cycle (first book of which is The Red Knight). It’s a very immersive, believeable world, shown from several different standpoints. At this point, I’ve come to prefer it to ASOIAF, because it doesn’t seem plagued with so much meandering and lost threads.

It’s cute, but I’ve got no interest in microtransactions or pestering my friends, so once I’ve hit a wall, that’ll probably be it for me. (Currently entertaining myself by trying to get all levels to three stars.)

Ah well, not to worry. It wasn’t an investment that I was planning on making. ^_^

It’s not the most efficient way to get through the mission and earn my 15 Phoenix Credits, but it’s fun, and right now I care more about fun.

I think one of the downsides for some folks—myself included—is that they’re literally unable to wear contacts. In my case, my eyes are just too sensitive, but I tried nearly every kind before giving up. I’m lucky in that I’m willing to wait on VR, but I’m sure it’s disappointing for someone who wants to try it and

Cute. She’s going to have some great memories of time spent playing with her dad, too! ^_^

Sometimes replying to others helps. Hope I didn’t rub salt in a wound, wasn’t my intent.

When I was small, my dolls and plushies sometimes went to “Nurse Grandmom” when they weren’t well. This is a really adorable evolution of that idea. ^_^

Oh, do! That’d be interesting. ^_^

Really enjoyed all of the photos (even if I do now want a little pika-geisha). ^_^

Interesting, thank you!

Oh dear. ^_^; But thanks for the advice, I have to admit that I never thought of doing that!

Best of luck!

I adopted as quickly as possible because both versions of 8 were driving me spare, but Mum’s not the sort to embrace change, and it wasn’t worth the battle. She’s asked me about the pop-up, and I’ve told her to leave it be. So far so good, but if it spontaneously installs, we are going to have a problem!

Both of my upgrades went well, in all fairness. I don’t think she’d have that much trouble with Windows 10, she just hates change. Truth be told I’ve been wanting to get her a new computer, but see above. Eventually, it’ll have to be done, as the current one is getting on in years.
