+1 on Inoreader. I use the browser “app” and the Android mobile app. Both work very well and I’ve nitpicked at them all.  Two things I need in both environments:  Dark mode and unread count badges.  Inoreader is the only one that does both very well.

I’ve been using Inoreader since Pulse was bought by LinkedIn [and, IMO, completely borked its experience]. I’m sure there are other fabulous services out there, but Inoreader serves me just fine with its high-contrast dark mode, multiple layout viewing options, multiple sort-by, reading stats and

Inoreader. Tried Feedly and others, but the UI and customizations work best for me.

What, you don’t want trash water all over your living room? Mr. High and Mighty Beverly Hills over her, with no trash water in his house.

Not complicated enough.

You can also gather the bag at one corner and use just one binder clip to hold it.

Yeah I have this one. I’ve been cutting my own hair for about the last 5 years (I basically shave it off and line it up). This Remington is a game changer. I used to use a heavy Wahl razor as well and cut my hair in the bathroom and then sweep it up.

What purpose does the water serve? Wouldn’t straight IPA be better? What about concentration of IPA? They make 50%, 90%, etc. Use same ratio for all? Can I use denatured alcohol from the hardware store? They’re cheaper.

My local Walgreens sells isopropyl in a spray bottle, making this even simpler. Pour 1/3 of it into another container, fill with water, done.

Your parents must be so proud of you.

And there it is. This is about the “money gap widening”? No, this is about your perception that restaurant owners are rich people who are ripping you off (which is not true by any measure).

Then stop going to restaurants because this is how they work. But don’t go, knowing this is how it works, and then bitch about it. The vast majority of restaurants fail because profit margins in the industry are razor thin. They have to make money somewhere.

But most people aren’t willing to pay $10 for a burger. They can’t base prices on the rare people.

Exactly. I’m paying for the luxury of not having to do it myself because it’s tedious and I’m too hungry to bother. On the rare occasion that I’m in the mood to make pizza and have the time, I will. The rest of the time I get it, I buy it because I’m starving and can’t wait longer than 30 minutes to eat.

The margin on food is often razor thin. The reason they can have a $5 burger or a $10 Large pizza is BECAUSE of the profit margins on add-ons or sodas, not IN ADDITION to these margins.

And where, exactly, is the cost of labor, rent, or other overhead items?

So much bad information at work here. First of all, restaurants keep on average about 10% of their sales after all is said and done. So your local owned pizzeria that pulls in $1m yearly (which would be crushing it) actually makes $100k. Good money, but not private jet money. Depending on the area, this is upper

er.. y’all realize that it’s not only food cost you’re paying for right? there’s rent, labor, utilities, equipment (THIS! You know how much those pizza ovens cost?), time, marketing, loan interests, packaging, knowledge, etc, etc, etc... balancing out with the rest of the year.. especially the “off” season..

Yup this is what I have done for years, lather up the new bar and graft the old piece onto it... New bar with a beautiful growth.....

Or, you could take the last sliver of the old soap, slap it onto the new soap, and it becomes part of the new bar.
