Imagine MASH, but set in present day (well, 2010) and with cops instead of doctors. Renner, Adam Goldberg, Harold Perrinau, and Amber Tamblyn. It's dramedy gold. And smart. I remember going to see The Hurt Locker solely because "The guy from the Unusuals is in it, I should check this out."

They desperately need a low-key comedy crime fighting movie with Kate and Clint. And the dog. Does someone else than Marvel have the rights to Madame Masque or can Marvel adapt Matt Fraction's Hawkeye wholesale? Because they should.

"It's von Sydow, playing a cyborg with dementia,"

Oh this is super easy. And it is from a show I love to death:

They still do novels...novellas, at least. The last couple sets had tie-in ebooks from Amazon. On the website there's also a column called "Uncharted Realms" which largely consists of short fiction by rotating authors, much of it quite excellent. This is a particular favorite of mine, focusing on the Rakdos guild: http

EDH/Commander does have preconstructed decks that come out every so often (two sets of 5 decks each, with a new set coming out soon), but these don't have any sort of story connected with them since they pick and reprint from the entire card library, plus a few new cards designed specifically for the set.

EDH uses ALL the sets. You don't have to immediately buy into a new set. EDH is about adding singleton cards that complement yours and your commander playstyle and abilities.

Great. Now we'll be seeing Safari Troopers as well as IE Troopers, with a Netscape and Firefox Trooper in the background!

A Hawkeye movie based off the Fraction/Aja run would be great. I don't even know if there is a precedent for the type of genre mixing they do. It's kind of like Chuck meets James Bond meets the Bourne movies; light hearted action/spy fare with a good sense of situational humor.

DC has both Titans and Legion of Superheroes in the TV and movie development pipeline. That doesn't guarantee either will see the light of day, but their existence, and the need to go after the millennial market that Teen Wolf claims leads me to believe Marvel will at least consider Young Avengers seriously.

I think Renner should do a Marvel One-Shot in the style of comic, "down to earth" is more his acting style, I'd be surprised if interpreting those stories wouldn't appeal to him. And Bishop (potentially the Young Avengers) should get a show, in which Renner makes a cameo.

YES. It could be a comedy! Something entirely fresh.

That was the exact answer I thought of when I saw the headline. 100 years from now would be amazing. I mean...think of 1914 to 2014...holy crap. For the reasons you cited 100 years is just about the perfect number. Plus, the best part? They would still be saying 1o or 20 more years til we have flying cars. ;)

Superior Foes of Spider-Man.

I believe it's from The Superior Foes of Spider-Man. Which, in my opinion from the few I read, was way better than Superior Spidey.

I will. If there was a line for this I'd be standing in it already.

On the contrary, inject the shit out of me and make me sterile!
