I am actually very curious how someone in Ansari’s position could really own up or say something that would really appease us. It just seems like someone in this position is relatively doomed (rightfully or wrongfully—I’m not making a judgement on that): anything he said would probably have not been enough. And that’s

I think she out-earned her dad by several hundred million dollars at this point.

Did she treat Pete like garbage? It sounds like they both got infatuated quickly, as young people do, and she broke out of it sooner and she dumped him. That sucks for Pete, as it sucks for everyone who gets dumped, but dumping someone doesn’t necessarily mean you treated them like garbage, does it?

LOLOL who did she treat like garbage? Also I'd say that Manchester is certainly an example of "going through some shit."

Pete... you okay?

I dunno - I’ve been through a lot and none of it was my fault and to be honest, my friends who have “perfect” lives can’t cope with basic life... so I am their constant reminder of someone who actually has been through shit. I guess they use me to compare their lives that actually are not bad.

really? they went through the trouble of going to an IVF clinic and having embryos prepared for implantation. it is not surprising that they want their children, no matter how they were carried to term.

Just binged Stranger Things 3 yesterday. I can’t think of anyone who’s smoking where you’re supposed to think “yes, this is a person who makes good life choices.”

Even Hopper, one of the heroes, is clearly an alcoholic as well as grappling with a number of mental health issues. Billy is a mess. Various other villains

If you watch the episode of The Chef Show where she first “learns” that she was in “Spider-Man: Homecoming, it’s hard to tell if she’s a little high/drunk, dumb as a rock, so removed from “normal” life, or some combination of the aforementioned.

The only way I'm seeing this is if they pull their heads from their asses and cast lizzo as Ursula.  The story, not this incarnation, is utter trash.  I'd see it for lizzo though

Like bread. Or eggs. Or fruit?

You said it. Cold shoulder tops make me irrationally furious to begin with. The last time I saw my extended family, sure enough every member that I can’t stand was wearing one. Even the guys! Kidding - that would have made me at least be able to laugh at them.

Scott Swift only owned 3% and was not on the board. In any case, she’s a grown woman and if she wants to buy her shit, she should be able to.

I mean, I care about this matter because there are hundreds/thousands of artists who are less successful than Taylor and are even more swallowed up and manipulated by the corrupt leaders of the music biz. I may not care about Taylor’s case specifically, but if even she doesn’t have the power to fix this, there’s not

Oof.  It’s all so manipulative.  She hasn’t earned a lot of good will in my book but she is right on this.  It’s bullshit.

Apparently he told her the only way she could get her masters is if she agreed to do a quid pro quo sort of thing. For every new album she produced, he would give her one of her masters back....so she would have been stuck with him for at least another ten years.

Yea I agree. Like own her own masters at what cost? They bought the company (which is essentially T.S) for 300 million. she may be rich but is she 300 million rich? I’m no fan of hers, but this situation seems so shitty, especially because she told this person she did not like Braun.  It seems like a giant FU.

I don’t believe him for a second. Most artists would kill to own their masters, and whatever people say about Taylor Swift people almost universally agree she’s a good businesswoman. There is no way she turned down a chance to own her masters. Also, people have been bringing receipts about her talking for years about

He points out how unfair it is for her to take grievances to social media...by posting it to social media. Um, yeah, ok Justin.

Bieber, you recently collaborated with Chris Brown, so frankly I question your ability to judge character.
