It's ok to call it gross - there are plenty of natural things that are gross. Naked mole rats, hagfish, diarrhea, and apparently, placenta (I've never seen one before and hope to never again). I was also squicked out but I also am a big girl and can survive seeing an unpleasant image.

Based on how unpleasant and interminable it was to read, I'd already forgotten it HAD an ending, because it sure didn't feel like it.

I was pretty sure e-cigarettes were illegal here in Canada.

Bullshit. No, it's poorly written and a terrible exam question regardless of content. There's no way to assess the ability of the student based on whether or not they can understand that.

a) grim. b) can we figure out how to infect the Crown of Thorns seastars with this before they eat all the coral in the Coral Triangle?

Coconut oil is surprisingly not greasy if you get the amount right! I shower twice a day b/c I feel grimy a lot of the time and b/c I _hate_ having the feel of stuff on my skin (making bread by hand almost kills me - get it off! get it OFF!).
