Works for an ad campaign (though I would have preferred “voltfegnugen”), but not as a rebrand. Worse than the new GM logo.

If you’re actually using this as a work truck, why get this over a Transit Connect?

It was a Grand Cherokee and the weird lever, but yeah. Regulations are how we got to the standard PRNDL shift layout, why can’t we regulate the new layouts?

2nd Gear: I have a better name for Geely’s upmarket electric vehicles. Polestar.

Various versions of AV5 for highways have been feasible since the 90s. GM showed off a fleet of Buicks that could line up as a “train” and go down a specialized lane at high speed, no human interaction needed until you leave the “train”.

I’d argue for another brake-related upgrade: central high mounted stop lamp. If you’re doing any wiring in the rear, it’s pretty trivial to add. Plus, a thin strip of LEDs will be nearly invisible when not lit. Adding a CHMSL means your brake lights are much more likely to be seen by someone riding high in an SUV.

It looks like a bar of soap, not doing it for me. I’d still go for the Ioniq 5.

Sounds like an IKEA kettle.

Hopefully we’ll get an electric kei roadster available in the next few years. With a skateboard chassis, different bodyshell “hats” should let Honda pump these out cheaply.

These pics are fantastic, thanks for sharing!

I have an idea for the steering wheel. You could replace it with a badge that says--wait for it--Jeep. Even Land Rover puts their badge on Range Rovers, even if the RR name is plastered across the hood and tailgate.

The unlit buttons would drive me mad, but not as mad as the all the different temperatures of white you see from the back seat of a Model X.

I can’t remember which model, but Mercedes released super high-rez interior photos a couple of years ago that showed tremendous detail on the fly that landed on the console.

If Kia doesn’t use the band Eve 6 to market the EV6, they’ve officially lost their way.

I read that as Schrader believing that Workhorse had a great shot at the USPS contract due to Biden’s comments. Unless evidence comes out that Workhorse already knew they were out of the running, these comments are just optimism.

They are doing better. They’re holding the cars back for quality checks instead of letting them out the door with parts from Home Depot while developing a solution for later cars.

We’re talking a delay of weeks or months here, not enough time for any real change in the infrastructure.

I have questions about that DeLorean.

Acura was brilliant in the early days with the Legend and Integra, but started to waver when they expanded the lineup. Infiniti never had direction, even when the G35 was popular.

I disagree, I think the Bangle 5 is beautiful now.
