You think this is bad? Try Datsun Z cars.

It always baffles me to think there are people out there in need of a new car who go out, shop around, do some test drives and say “Ah yes, this Kia is the best choice to spend my $20-60K” with the exception of the telluride

My guess is because of all that extra armor added to the outside of the door, it can no longer rotate in the “normal” door direction.

He really pushed a lot of potential customers over the edge. I know of multiple people, myself included, who are considering an EV purchase and have gone from “Well he sounds like a crappy person, but I’ll still at least consider a Tesla” to “Well, no chance I consider putting more money in the pocket of the guy who

“Unless you are willing to intentionally scratch up your brand new truck, it’s not a real truck or you aren’t using it right” sure is a garbage take.

Except you can do the exact same thing at any hotel with a pool and a warm climate without needing to be trapped on a boat.

That’s exactly what he seems to be doing with this video...

So what we essentially did is we completely eliminated the protective case and put the chemicals in a ziplock bag

I wish someone would put some development effort behind more modular battery packs.

To be fair, he’s been a senator for like a year and before that had state government positions that didn’t pay much or have much opportunity to elicit under the table cash. Give him a couple years to establish himself and and get on the take from a few corporations and lobbyists before we start calling him a

Priscila Barbosa arrived in the U.S. with only $117 to her name and the promise of a ride from the airport....Barbosa arrived in the U.S. from her native Brazil on a six month tourist visa.

But stellantis does sell a crap ton of PHEV’s

Most of what’s described in this article is not “taxable income” or a “taxable gift”.

I mean not to defend the dealership, but other than maybe hot pavement, the environment isn’t anything these elephants aren’t built for. Hot temperatures are something they regularly deal with in the wild and they regularly go days without drinking so a few hours outside isn’t a big deal.

Police said he was sentenced to 5 years in prison for fraud but he decided to double it and give it to the next person.

I think the other commenters point is that this thing wasn’t intended for repeated hard braking that occurs on the ‘ring. In the real world, it can do 99% regenerative braking only needs its brakes to be able to do hard braking infrequently, not multiple times within a couple minutes.

With rivian market cap at $15billion and $5B owned by VW, is it really that fair to count them as “american” still?

Hey we’ve got an article about a bank charging extra fees and repossessing cars, what should we use as our headline photo?

Agreed, this is nothing particularly new or surprising. It’s basically just another instance of “the squeaky wheel gets the grease”

That’s a good point, it seems like one option as a compromise could be at each station having some chargers that are capped, and some that will go to 100%. Sort of the equivalent of grocery stores having normal and express checkout lanes. That way if someone wants 100%, it’s available they just might have to wait
