Or as a counterpoint, this is a business and they are a paying customer, it’s not some public utility. So if the business decides it’s in their interest to implement limits, that’s up to them. But other customers don’t really have any right to get pissy about how other customers choose to partake as long as it’s

Does the issue cause a full loss of power (as indicated in the article title) or going into limp mode (as indicated by the NHTSA site)?

I thought the exact same. Imagine training for years/decades for a triathlon just to have the officials tell you “So you know all that training you did for swimming and the endurance training you did to be prepared for a 3 part race? LOL water’s dirty so we’re just gonna change the event entirely”

If the river isn’t cleaned up in time, open water events will be moved to a different river, and the triathlon will be shortened to a (totally lame) duathlon

Look at the headline GIF, seems like the front of the trailer frame is actually bottoming out. Not sure if there’s any sort of adjustability of the trailer bed height vs the wheels, but seems like the frame is the issue not the tires/suspension.

I think what Ash is getting at is if you logically interpret the phrase “near miss” the objective/logical interpretation would be that you almost missed, which would imply it wasn’t a miss which would be a hit.

I was wondering the same, seems like the loan portion should be the problem of anyone other than the seller.

They say the owner still had a loan balance on the car, so he probably never had the title to begin with.

I don’t think anyone suggesting that allowing a down payment on a credit card is negligent. What’s negligent is accepting such a large CC payment and apparently doing nothing to validate the card is actually in the buyer’s name. Unless he provided some sort of fake ID that matched the name on the card, it’s pretty

As a result of its guilty plea, Boeing is now technically a felon, which could “complicate its ability to sell” its planes and other products to the U.S. government, reports CNBC

It’s extra noticeable in a PHEV with a smaller battery.

I love how every time there’s a truck article on here there’s always

Except this isn’t some aftermarket tonneau. This is factory standard equipment.

It’s just a matter of proper spacing and compartmentalization. If you take a giant warehouse and stack it full of batteries from edge to edge, you only need one to spark and you’ve got a problem.

Agreed on all accounts. Especially someone who has been working at companies like Facebook and TikTok where if you’re making that kind of money, you’re probably also getting some HEALTHY equity awards.

“I like the car, but I would have bought it used or would have thought about it a little bit more because now that I’m paying for it and looking at my monthly statements more closely, a thousand [dollars] a month is a big deal,” she says. “If I had put that into something else, I would have been making more money in

+1, if they gave a warning about the turbulence and told people to buckle up and the guy still chose to still not use a seat belt, then the should send that dope a bill for repairing the hole his stupid head put in the ceiling.

If by “convenience store items” you mean soda, candy, jerky, chips etc. hasn’t like every single grocery store in America had this by the register for decades?
