Except if you only have a 5 mile commute, what’s the point of investing in a little EV? You would save like a gallon of gas per week.

+1 to that, I was thinking about how this is a great value prop compared to the Raptor but hadn’t even thought of the Tacoma TRD Pro Hybrid.
Will be interesting to see how ford responds given this trounces the non-R raptor on power while also being like 8k cheaper. Maybe a retune and power bump in the raptors future?
I’ll use the initialism ‘BMPH’ to avoid constantly using ‘bags mishandled per hundred.’ For example, 0.58 BMPH is the national average with 485,919,932 bags being enplaned in 2023
Breaking news: a used car is cheaper than a new version of the same model!
Yeah, seems like unless you have the opportunity to book an alternative flight this doesn’t really do much for you.
3) it wasn’t “up market”
IDK man, there are probably pros and cons in both directions (EX: maybe performance potential is a little better with lockers, but the “fake” lockers are fully automated and way more convenient)
I think you may misunderstand what I’m trying to say. I’m not saying that I think they’re going to be some tech juggernaut who takes over the world with breakthrough technology. I’m saying that whoever is crazy enough to invest at their current price and current financial performance must be someone who believes that…
What is the point of a “real” locker when the wheels are individually powered?
I mean to be fair, he’s technically correct because nobody in their right mind would invest at Tesla’s current valuation based on their vehicle sales potential, you would have to believe in some sort of miracle tech breakthrough upside potential to justify investing at their current absurd P/E ratio
I think the problem is the people with the proclivity and means to pay for a premium experience probably also have the means to satisfy 95% of their charging needs at home.
Kind of reminds me of a story from my pre-law class.
Right, there’s definitely logic to it.
but the performance is nearly as good. 0-60 time is 3.6 vs 3.5 of the Zr1
I mean, I wouldn’t use that as my sole means of trying to sell, but I definitely still use it as part of the plan.
However, the costs recuperated from the cargo companies are expected to fall well short of the costs incurred through the boat’s extraction and the repairs needed on the bridge.
This is the big one. Tesla has had its missteps but still manages to sell a ton of cars and dominate the EV market, the real driving force for the drop is it never should have had a trillion dollar market cap in the first place.
Sure the stock is down recently. But the compensation plan and its milestones were set in 2018 when TSLA valuation was around $50B versus around $500B now.
It’s all stock.
