Whoever looked at these results and called Atlanta “worst” is apparently some psycho who prefers having to circle around for 45 minutes just to find a $10 per hour parking meter that probably has a 90 minute limit.

That how I interpreted the quote in question. I didn’t read it as suggesting some sort of technology malfunction, but rather suggesting the car is super high performance and the driver wasn’t equipped to handle it.

What is with Jalopnik’s apparent obsession with needing to report on every single possible flip attempt? I get it, we don’t like flippers, but this is a news site, do we really need a dedicated article every time a single person tries to flip a single car?

I think for some people it wasn’t a necessity or “need an app” rather than just a tool to simplify the process.

In elementary school, my friend’s dad had a brand new S2K. Hey filled up with gas, then flipped around to the car wash, one much like the lead image of this article.

As a finance professor used to say “it doesn’t always matter how ‘right’ your investment decisions are because often times the market can remain illogical longer than you can remain solvent”

Shut up and take my money

It’s funny, the snippets hand picked to be quoted here and the title of this article seem to suggest the business insider’s article had a vibe of “Unions suck, we agree and found a few employees who also agree, since we all agree, that settles it, unions suck

I don’t know if factory workers get any sort of equity but that could be part I guess

I’m sure it’s intended as a preventative measure that they have no desire to have need to actually apply.

Exactly, I doubt they often enforce this rule and actually try and charge anyone, it’s a preventative measure that they probably never want to have the awkward situation of trying to apply to an offender.

Interestingly, the restaurant’s website also lists a Pooch Patio where patrons can bring their pets, and its Instagram page (though outdated) features some warmhearted posts about dogs dining with their owners at the restaurant. This seems slightly at odds with such an unyielding child policy, given that dogs can

While most of these categories are self-explanatory, “Global” encompasses restaurants like Taco Bell, Chipotle, and Panda Express, and “Snack” includes brands that focus on coffee, dessert, and other assorted items you just can’t build a meal out of.

The lack of dishes and not needing any special kitchen tools/equipment cannot be understated.

Maybe if the warranty on the new parts matches the warranty duration when it left the showroom. But if I’m on month 30 of a 36 month warranty, I’m not going to be thrilled about getting a “refurbished” engine (which presumably received said refurbishment as a result of a prior failure) just because it’s still covered

That’s true if you assume it’s all mechanical failure related parts. It’s possible a good chunk of this are things needed due to accidents or other damage so hard to declare for sure without more data if it’s a reliability or supply chain issue.

I mean I would totally agree if we’re talking about a bus driver or something. But honestly if you told me I was going to be a flight with a hijacking attempt with presumably 9/11-esque intentions and my options are a pilot with a gun and minimal training or a pilot with his bare hands trying to thwart an attack, I

But I’m sure if the tables were turned and someone with a 6 day rental extended to 7 days, Budget would definitely adjust and give them the more favorable weekly rate right?.... Right?

Yeah, in a world where executives regularly push personal vehicles and private jet flights to vacations through corporate expense accounts, getting a single drink delivered seems trivial at best.

Yeah this is kind of a silly claim. “You asked your executive assistant to perform random tasks for you, what a waste of company funds!” uhhh that’s like saying “you asked the engineers to do engineering work, what a waste!”
