And then the aliens will claim dominion over the earth, with little more than clubs and slingshots.

Given the conditions we live in today, an epidemic disease would not survive long enough to take a large number of us out to begin with.

I follow him on G+, and he seems pretty OK to me.

It seems to me the best way to deal with it is to simply take it in good humor. I think the guy deserved it, but if you're going to jab back, it's best to do so without the mean-spirited tone, even if the other guy didn't see it prudent to extend the same courtesy. It just makes the other guy look like more of an

Thing is, had the mini been cheaper, and the 32GB model not been over $400, I probably would've gotten one just to tie into everything else I own, but as a knockaround device that I can just watch movies on while traveling or surf the web wherever, the Nexus suits me. Thing is, I was never completely sold on tablets,

The specs are not outdated enough to warrant a price that makes it cost Apple money per unit to sell.

It's like in the Axe commercials. The moment you cut the check, women swarm from all directions. It has been foretold in the Nookienomicon.

Had the story been pushed into one 3-hour film, I think it would've been outstanding, and certainly would've been immensely more fitting.

They are....alive.

If the iPad mini is the biggest disappointment, I think we're doing pretty OK overall.

Because as a secondary media consumption device, it's still very good. Upscaled apps or not, it functions to my liking, and is much more comfortable to surf the web on than a phone.

I intend to use this as my wallpaper, and maybe alternate with the NERV one too:

Considering the limited scope of my personal preferences for apps on a tablet, I don't suppose this is going to be an issue, and I'll still benefit from what's available for my 4S.

It seems as if there's always going to be at least one person who just won't be satisfied until the iPad is off the list of tablets completely, which is not likely to happen anytime soon.

The Nexus 7 does not have a mediocre display. It's smaller than the mini's, but it's no worse off in terms of color or resolution. The N7's speakers are good enough to display a Youtube video. They're no worse off than the mini's.

After using one side by side with a current gen iPad, the mini does show some sign of lower resolution, however, on its own, it's still a good display. I can't really say much on the matter of color compared to the Fire HD, Nook and Nexus, because I haven't seen them side by side, and the interfaces of the latter have

As one who has been completely immersed in Apple's ecosystem for a few years now, I have to say that I love my Nexus 7. There's no ignoring the obvious value for the specs that you get out of this thing, given its loss-leader price, but after over a week of usage, it's easily my favorite of the bunch regardless.

I'm a nice guy and all, but under the circumstances, you really need to put out. But look on the bright side, you bagged yourself a nice guy.

I'm pretty sure this is false. Now please, vacate my internets.

I like to think of that movie as Attack of the Geocities Gifs.
