I don't know a whole lot about ruggedized PC's, but I'm pretty sure that raw power is not at the top of its list of priorities, given what they seem to be designed for.

Gizmodo typically covers the range of electronics from basic home kit to stuff that most of us could never afford, or find much reason to use.

I'm starting to suspect that people are taking this seriously.
