I think the kidney grill is the only part of this design that looks like it’s carrying the BMW pedigree forward. I don’t dislike the way the car looks, but the rest of the styling elements would feel right at home on a Japanese car IMHO.

That’s actually really refreshing. Where I live, everyone drives full-sized pickups as a status symbol. They want to feel tough, but if I had a dollar for every pristine, empty truck bed I saw, I’d have an extra $40 per day.

Something tells me that the people who need that step-and-bar to get into the truck bed will be too prideful to actually use it.
