Now, let’s fast forward to the part where the entire charade has somehow managed to work out, and we’re both pointing fingers at one another like, “I thought you knew how to sail a yacht???” Then we crash into the 20 other impounded yachts, all owned by actual Russian oligarchs

Right? I’d love to don a captain’s hat and try to bluff my way onto one of those boats.

I’d like to see Volvo release a retro-inspired 240: boxy, basic, safe and maybe even an EV?

It’s really any of those trucker-centric mega gas stations where you can step into a road warrior’s superstore. This is where you’ll find the best selection of cheap sunglasses, gaudy hats, and offensive T shirts. I once saw canned oxygen being peddled as a legal recreational drug along side a neon assortment of OTC

SotB is the gateway to the dirty south.

ARs can be kitted out for short range shooting, but I wouldn’t use one for home defense since the rounds can have tremendous penetrating power compared to other consumer-grade munitions.

You sure about that? Some accounts suggest that your brain remains active for several second and even minutes after being cleanly severed. IMHO the electric chair is totally barbaric.

Fun fact! Guillotines were used by the French government in the modern era. I could be wrong, but I think the last execution using one was in the 1970s.

Is this generation of Monte Carlo the worst muscle car of the 00s?

I think the GTO design looked dated and boring when it hit the US market. I’m sure it was an interesting car underneath (simply because so many people have boldly told me so) but it just looked so stale... and not sleeper stale, just “why even bother?” stale.

“Mom call 911 before they shoot us too!”

I’m not going to lie, hearing that at the close of the first video shook me.

Who hasn’t dreamt of buying one of these just so you could it into an Aston Martin Cygnet?

A kite was partially to blame for the of a ship sinking once!

That’s when they’ll make it illegal- when some activist group starts covertly planting airtags on every police vehicle they can find and sharing police locations publicly.

I wouldn’t personally call it career suicide, but in addition to the controversy they’d face, any new actor would have a really hard job just filling Chadwick’s shoes. He absolutely nailed the role and made the character come to life in an authentic feeling way. That’s got to be daunting for anyone looking to take up

Prepaid maintenance- I just think you’re overpaying for maintenance that you don’t necessarily need. Like, $80/mo for a “tire” plan? It’s been awhile, but I feel like that was the price the dealer tried to sell me on. That’s almost $1k per year and my tires usually last two years.

Not one movie specifically, but I hate how all cinematic car chase scenes from the last 20 years just have to include a protagonist driver in front spinning their car into reverse while they continue to evade pursuit while being “eye to eye” with their opponent. It is so damn dumb and implausible. Why has this become

“Ok, I think everything is hooked up properly and after years of development, the robotic hand is ready for its first full-motion test”
...
“Make it flip the bird”

...and what? Like, try him out a few times, wanting to enjoy him before closing him up in a drawer after realizing that no matter what you can do with him, he won’t live up to the hype, then reluctantly dragging him out every time a friend comes over and insists they give him a go despite your protests?

Is it just my bad memory, or did Maserati Quattroportes like this sell for like $12k five years ago?
