I agree— I think I’d love it as just another option available in custom games et al. It would be better served in some modes over others, but for the main game/what’s considered “normal,” I think I’m with the Olde crowd here.

*sigh*

$D$L$C$

In that circumstance the answer to me is still “Lower the difficulty and/or turn on cheats,” but outright REMOVING that experience instead of just making it easier to overcome is, well... it’s hard not to say it’s “objectively worse.”

Okay, so, I’m far from the sweatiest tryhard in the world. At most, I have a dozen or so platinum trophies for my favorite games of all time, some of which can be pretty punishing at times (KH series on Critical, Mass Effect on Insanity, etc.). But otherwise I’m pretty content to just play most every game fairly

ME3 Vanguard is fucking hilarious to play at high level talents. You literally just spam B Charge Nova on everything until it’s dead. It turns Mass Effect 3 into a borderline hack and slash game.

In the video it takes just as long to set up this glitch as it does to just watch the cutscene.

Seconded and thirdeded to the moon and back. Arekkz and Gaijin are knowledgeable as heck and their content is top notch and thorough. If there’s a topic or a question you have about the game, guaranteed they have a video about it. If not now, then definitely coming soon. Arekkz has been pumping out the content day in

Lol “Next,” huh? I guess that explains the existence of this entire piece, doesn’t it?

Do you like Fighting Games by any chance? Or MOBAs maybe? How about FPS? Even Soulsborne?

“overly precious and self-satisfied animations to finish playing for the zillionth time”

So, what happens if tomorrow it’s outed that someone involved in the creation of Sesame Street was actually a paedophile? Does that suddenly invalidate decades of wholesome educational content because of the personal decisions and beliefs of a single bad actor? Not at all.

I literally could not care any less what one single guy working on a game does or doesn’t believe about this or that, or what the author of the book universe that inspired said game believes. The only question that concerns me is whether or not the game ends up fun. If it is, great! If not, don’t care. Nothing else

Okay. Real talk. “Speed Golf” sounds like the best thing EVER. “It’s ALWAYS your turn!” is all I needed to hear.

Hey, whoa, whoa now. Octopath definitely had some stories. It might not have had an overarching plot, but it was NOT short of story-telling by any means.

That’ll be a big fat “SAME” from me across the board, there. Fahey included! I want more Snacktaku! Haha

My favorite part of both Hades and Dead Cells, aside from the addicting progression loop and “one more run” vibe is the absolutely EXCELLENT attention to good game feel and combat I can only describe as “visceral.” Man, oh man, the combat and weapons in Dead Cells are so sick. And the constant

I dunno. That’s hard to say given we got Trials of Mana, like, at ALL. There was no original western release for that game, so when it got shadow dropped last summer it came as a total shock because it meant just that: they went out of their way to give it a localization that they’d never made before, and then on TOP

Great! Then they should go after tournaments that use pirated copies of the game, because The Big House is not one of those.
